This verse was addressed directly to Mohammed, although Jesus, Moses, Abraham, and all the other prophets (peace be upon them all) would also fit the description of bringer of glad tidings.

I don't think there is such person, in Islam, after Mohammed (pbuh). Mr. Khalifa might be a scientist, but do not compare him with a verse from the Quran. That verse is about Mohammed.
