i once saw a group of women wearing black hijab giving away flyers at a shopping mall,i thot they were muslims. but when i got the flyers, it was christian flyers about christians masses and gatherings.i'm confused..

Does anyone know of a 'welcome wagon' type program for new residents in Minneapolis? My mom is moving there and doesn't know anyone and sometimes these services have neat offers or can tell you things about the area, etc. How would I find something like that and ask them to visit her? Thank you!

christians seem unsensitive to human instinct. As a non-christians, i see where you are coming from. You have been taught about god from a very young age. You feel like you have spoken to him and you believe that the bible is 100% true. Why dont you christians have the decency to tell people that you see where they are coming from and that you know it must be difficult to belive all the biblical stories. Many non-believers look towards science and call their ideas theory. Christians dont even have enough respect for people and their thinking to call their ideas theory. It is only unsupported fact. How can you join people who dont respect your god given thoughts?

I love and am attracted to men. Even though I am sexually attracted to them, I'm also sexually attracted to only some women. Where I live there are alot of east indians and they are always so rude. At the store they take my shopping cart when I turn away to look at something. At work they push me out of the way to get out through the gate first. In the restroom I even had an east indian lady wash her hands right over mine and acted like I wasn't even standing there. Why?

If everyone says the coming of christ is soon .. would you belive him/she , if they came out and pronounced he was your saviour and he really does have a message from god..

The bible is the only book in history that is written with so much intellectual thought that it is almost beyond human comprehension, actually many parts of it is.

You have to have the ability to see past what is being said and see into the mind of the person it's describing in order to truly understand it.

The people that wrote the bible had to be extremely intelligent at philosophy and understanding the human mind.

What happened to these people?

Did they just write the bible and then die as did Plato, Aristotle and Socrates or did they do other things?
