The meanings of similar words can be almost exactly the opposite from each other. For example sectarian and secular.

Yes! I do think spelling can have an influence on how the question is interpreted. (hope I spelled that all right). LMAO!!

At first the spelling bothered me and then I realized that there are a lot of people here that English was their second language. I had to take a step back and realize if I was writing in Spanish or Arabic how difficult it could be.

a lot of times the spelling is so atrocious that everybody's answer is just that they can't decipher the question
