Der are so many of die articles out der that it das make die head spin quite a bit. ^^

Just try to use them as much as you can and it will become intuitive. There are some things that you just have to practice over and over again.

Make a chart like I did, one for der-words and one for ein-words containing both strong and weak endings. This arrangement puts similar endings together (sorry for the bad alignment):

Masculine Neuter Feminine Plural Adj, MN, Fem

Nom. der -e das -e die -e die -en -er -en

Acc. den -en das -e

Dat. dem -en

Gen. des -en

Nom. ein -er ein -es eine -e keine -en -er -en

Acc. einen -en ein -es

Dat. einem -en

Gen. eines -en

You can do the same thing for the pronouns.

Complete the chart and start practicing!

I still remember them all, thanks to my dictator German teacher in high school! How to cope with them? First, learn by heart, then learn how and when to use them.
