If everyone says the coming of christ is soon .. would you belive him/she , if they came out and pronounced he was your saviour and he really does have a message from god..

in our society we would probably lock this guy in a mental ward.. with a ton of pills. ... and well what would u think to happen after that .. gods wraith seems a likely hood.

I guess youd have to look for some proof right? I mean before Jesus there were many people who claimed to be the Messiah and after Jesus there have been even more who have claimed to be the second coming of the Messiah. I believe it says in the Bible that there will be alot of people saying that they are the Messiah, especially towards the end, but that the one who is really Jesus will descend from the clouds and other things like that.
So I guess if you are a Christian you would believe that the real Jesus will present HImself in a way that lets you know that Hes the real deal and the other guys are fakers.

Society is something that we just can't get away from. We are made to believe things that aren't true and in the event of doing so, we brainwash ourselves into believing that the Lord is coming and we are all in trouble. You highly spiritual people think that you are the ones that should be in charge of the world - YOU'RE WRONG! Humanity doesn't need people who think they know what's about to happen. Get a grip on reality and face the facts: JESUS IS NOT COMING AND THAT'S IT.
And for the record, I wouldn't believe the idiot who proclaimed the coming of Christ. I'm a leader, not a follower.

if he came back like that in human form we would only have to look at the prophecies for the answer the likeliness that 1 man could fulfill even 26 bible prophecies is equal to 1 in 1 times 10 to the 54th power Jesus fulfilled over 300 the likeliness of that are so astronomical that scientist don't even know the odds not to mention the fact that at least 17 of the prophecies a man would have no control over like were he was born or were he grew up

No. In fact, I just recently saw a story on the news of this Hispanic dude in New Mexico that said he was Jesus and he's got a ton of followers.

And have you ever been to a psychiatrist? They ask you if you have a religion, and they sometimes even suggest religion to help you out with whatever is psychologically wrong with you. Most of the time, it's Christianity.

Well, he/she would have to prove it to me in a very good way...but of course, Jesus said "Blessed are those who do not see, but believe" so I think that person would use that excuse to not show us anything. Yeah, God would get pissed off if it really was Jesus II and we locked him/her/it in a mental ward...then the stuff in Revelation would occur...

But I doubt Jesus II would really take the time to say anything to us (as there's really no way the whole world would listen to him at the same time)...he'd just destroy the world and save the righteous and get it over w/.

W/e...we're all gonna die gradually of our own mistakes, not cuz of Jesus II.

Nobody would believe him.

Every time something like this comes up, a bunch of people all reply along the lines of "God warns us about people like that, so definitely no". If Jesus did show up again, he would be cast aside as he did not meet the expectations built up about him during the last 2000 years.

You are right, people would not belive some is christ even if he comes to your face and tells you, people these days will rather live like Jesus is coming but no one is really prepared if he do shows up and knoc on your door.

Three of my grandparents believed the whole nine yards. One aunt went to Church irregularly. My generation believes there may be a God be realizes we really know nothing about Him, what his thoughts intentions etc. are and we never go to church except to honor weddings, funerals, etc.

probably.
sad, eh?
in the end times, when he returns, will anyone know him?
In revelations, it says that there will only be three men in the entire world who will believe, and the people of that time will kill them and leave their bodies in the street to see if they will rise. It sounded eerily like a twisted reality show.
