I have seen so many people put there instead of their, I can't even laugh at it any more! I don't mind when people use abbreviations, but when they don't even know the difference between were and was? I know it's the internet, but that isn't the point. What's happened?

my co-worker keep repeating "thank you Jesus..".."thank you Jesus...". does she denied God while she dosen't know?

who created you? ... who created Adam and Eve? who sent Abraham? Moses, David, Issac, Jesus? ... who created Jesus inside his mother womb? ... who created your nose, eyes, hands, legs..... who created this whole universal?

how about THANK YOU GOD! instead? how about remembering God more often than Jesus? how about worshiping God alone?

My birthday is coming really really soon and i have no idea what to do for my birthday. I want to have it at home but, my house i kinda small and i don't have a basement or something. I would go out to have my birthday but i don't kn where to go. I'm going to be around 15 years old and stuff like that so i'm not really into kid stuff. I am still fairly new to Wicca. I have read a few books but still have more on my reading list. I am not quite comfortable performing ritual right now but would still like to celebrate Samhain this year. Are there any alternatives to ritual or other ways I can celebrate?

I mean, those cells end up being tossed in the garbage eventually. They are not kept by science forever. They do have a shelf life. And they are not human. They are cells. So why the big deal? I'd rather that science use cells that are available for research rather than having them tossed because they are useless. what is the church afraid of? besides having another point proven and them having to admit yet again they are so far behind they will never catch up to the current century.

Most of the younger generation seem desperate to keep in touch with their roots and see themselves as Pakistani/Bangladeshi etc rather than British even if they were born here. They spend a lot of time visiting their "homelands" (thats where the 7/7 bombers were recruited).

30% of "British Muslims" apparently beleive that the 7/7 bombers were "justified" and the fact that some are desperate to wear conservative Islamic veils etc shows they are trying to stay in touch with their own heritage and be as "un-British" as they can.

And when it comes to cricket - they support Pakistan/Bangladesh all the way even against England!

So whats all this about "British " Muslims beleive this is their home to? Thats not what I've heard or experienced.

I am interested in living in the Boerum Hill or Brooklyn Heights section of Brooklyn. I was wondering if anyone could tell me about the area? How is the commute to Grand Central and the east side of Manhattan? is it an easy commute? What are the streets like? Is there anything to do at night? Restaurants, clubs, etc or is it extremely residential? Also, what about crime in the area, is there any? Any and all information will be appreciated.
