As I grew up in Sri Lankan my knowledge of American history is minimal, so did the first white settlers really legally migrate to America?

Or
As in Australia (although they detain so called illegal aliens and their kids today) the White people turned up at the Australian shores and just killed as many black people as they can and just called the country theirs (The Tasmania aborigines were hungered down to the very last one, as I was told)

May be I’ve been told wrong...May be all these settlers did migrate legally, like they want others to do so today....

Would you please state your religion, ( if Christian please do not limit the answer and let me please know which denomination), and give me the best argument to convince me your Religion is the TRUTH?
If Atheist would you please give me your best argument to convice me there is no God.
If not religious but believing in the existance of God, tell me what you believe God's intentions are and your view about after life.
THANKS

Based upon Christ's words, "if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven." Do we have faith to agree? Why not on Yahoo Answers?

We all get asked for help by strangers on the street. How do you respond? Did you ever think that God is watching? He is!!
Now I know there's abuses of our kindness, but THINK ABOUT IT. What if that person is in 'dire need' of help? And there's no where else to turn? Pointing them in the direction of a shelter is ok, but what about really helping them yourself? What if, and I know this might be hard to imagine, but what if that person was.. . ..YOU ???

Everyone seems to forget that no one has ever seen, much less, really had a one-on-one conversation with God. God did not write the Bible, Koran, Torah or any other religious book. God did not inspire men to write any of these books. All these books have been written by men, sometimes under threat of death if they did not write what a leader of a religion wanted in the text. So why do people think it was God-inspired when there is no proof?

I have never believed in such 'supernatural' things.....reading todays news on Yahoo made me want to ask if anyone believes they personally have experienced a phenomena which could only be attributed to ghosts. Please tell me the story......

I have some facial hair that I have to keep waxing and waxing often breaks me out, leaving ugly bumps and blemishes... I am now considering having them permanently removed but I am not experienced with such services, I searched the internet but it seems that most sites are out to sell their own products, however, "Finally Free" worth $100 from nevershaveagain.com seems really appealing but I am still a little skeptacle because as I mentioned before, I don't know too much about permanent hair removal... Has anyone had it done? If so, What procedure did you use? How long did it take to get the results that YOU wanted? How much did it cost you? I sincerely appreciate all your help! Thanks.

in my previous question user Shane said this (I'm only pasting the last line)

So again my point is, you die because you "tempted God". But wouldn't God want to save you? Aren't Christians allowed to have moments of doubt about their religion, and if this said example were true, then technically you just comminted suicide and will burn in hell for all eternity just because you wanted proof of God's existence.

So because you tempted God, you are banished to Hell. Why wouldn't God want to save him? Why does he pick and chose where he helps?

So again, if you pray/tempt God and nothing happens, how do you know that 1) God is ignoring you or 2) he just plain doesn't exist

Surly blind unquestioning belief in something despite how much evidence proves you to be completely wrong can't be a good thing. Say no to jesus http://www.saynotojesus.tk

The Bible states that the Messiah will be descended from King David (Isaiah 11:1) via King Solomon (1 Chron. 22:8-10).
The geneology of Joseph can be traced back to David, but Joseph was not Jesus' father. The Bible claims that God himself was Jesus' father. Please explain.

I mean if we use pyres of wood and lay the dead body on it and burn, which would lead to less harmful emissions into the atmospehere rather than the more electronic way of dealing with dead wouldnt it be a better sustainable path, i mean ofcourse the wood used could be like say bamboo it is easy to grow and faster growth aswell, so my question is how many of us are open to this process of dealing with the dead?

I have a Halloween party tonight... it's my very own Murder Mystery... and I, the host, haven't even gotten a costume yet.

I'm 5'6", not exactly the skinniest thing in the world, blue eyes, short brown hair, voluptuous-full figured (if I can say that any more politcally correct).

Any suggestions?
