in my previous question user Shane said this (I'm only pasting the last line)
So again my point is, you die because you "tempted God". But wouldn't God want to save you? Aren't Christians allowed to have moments of doubt about their religion, and if this said example were true, then technically you just comminted suicide and will burn in hell for all eternity just because you wanted proof of God's existence.
So because you tempted God, you are banished to Hell. Why wouldn't God want to save him? Why does he pick and chose where he helps?
So again, if you pray/tempt God and nothing happens, how do you know that 1) God is ignoring you or 2) he just plain doesn't exist

I've got one better: why does god take all of the credit for good things that happen, but evil takes credit for all of the bad things, or god has a plan.

God allows us free will. So if we make the choice to do something against Him, He will not stop us. If you are 'tempting' God, then you have no faith in Him. Faith is trusting, believeing. Sure Christians doubt, question etc. We are human--the key is turning back to God.
No one can say why God does or how God does things--afterall, we are human and He is God.
Praying is different than tempting God--if someone is tempting God in their prayers, then they are not praying the way the Bible teaches us to pray.

well god gave us brain to think whats good and bad. is like jumping out of the building to see if the fire fighter gonna save u when the building aint even on fire. we need to stop been so religous and more human. why instead of him killing him self to temp god why couldnt he put strenght on helping the needed. we all wanna temp god test god and fight over religion if hes real or not while its people out there dying out of hunger kids who need a helping hand but we are wasting time tempting god and asking if hes real or not maybe thats why they dont get the answer they want.

Well, God gives you freewill to believe or not. Thus said, if you drink poison he fiqures your an idiot so you know he is real when you find yourself in hell. Then again, if you weren't actually suiciding but testing God you still end up in hell.

If one has come to God in The Way He proscribes and received His free gift of Salvation it dose not matter what one drinks... if it kills you , you will go to Heaven.... the point is, if you are trying to see if God will save you from such foolishness... then you had better know you will probably wake up in Heaven...
Now... if one has not come to God as God proscribes and has not received God's gift of Salvation.... and then one says to God that he is going to drink poison and askes God to "save" him....that individual will wake up in a much hotter situation than Heaven... and it will be his own fault... not God's.
But... God makes the rules... man don't... God will "save" whom He will.... when He will... and how He will... Just don't "test" his reallity.

Matthew 4:7
Jesus answered him, "It is also written: 'Do not put the Lord your God to the test.' "
--God does not ignore us- He answers us in HIS timing and according to HIS will...
Philippians 4:19
And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.
--God has answered prayers of mine right away and he has answered them far off- BUT everytime he answers me it is always for the BEST- I have seen God work so clear in my life that I KNOW it is him- and he strengthens my faith in him each time- But we should never put God to the test....And that is a big difference.

You need to be looking for your answers in the Bible rather than strangers on the internet. Some of the answers you are receiving are of God and some are of the devil.

Exactly. But for want of a good reason there still apparently has to be a reason. If we ask why are we here. God put us here. Why is God there? To put us here silly.
