How any intelligent society can follow a book of fairytales that could've been written by anyone is beyond me. I'm glad most people in my country (England) don't follow religion.

Having faith in some thing which you haven't any longer have been given any data is ridiculous. you're quite perfect! there is one greater length to faith that could be some thing like, having faith on your perception that Blind faith isn't a sturdy element. it may purely be so common as having have faith in the capability of your legs for strolling up and down on a ladder. So while it consists of having faith in a Deity which additionally happens to have a faith alongside with an entourage of customs, ethic, rituals etc. finding the wonderful one or the single that appeals to you turns into needed.

Faith in Christ is not blind faith....just ask "doubting" Thomas - this man walked with Jesus, saw Him do miracles, heard His unparalleled wisdom, heard Him say He would be put to death at the hand of evildoers and then rise again on the third day...and yet after all Jesus had done to earn his trust, Thomas still refused to have faith.....

I imagine that you, if you had a friend who had always proven himself to be trustworthy in the past, told you he was going to meet you somewhere at 3pm, you would have "faith" at 2:45pm that he was going to show up....even before having the physical proof - that is, if you are a rational, reasoning individual.

Faith can be a comfort and a tool at times when a reasonable explanation is not available, but faith is not a substitute for reason.

Paul said: Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

You can say no to Jesus all you like. Please do not encourage others to do so. Whatever evil you do to Jesus Christ and the people in this world will go out into eternity with you. One split second after you die you will realize you are wrong but then it will be too late.
Remember!
"7Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap." Galatians 6:7 in The Holy Bible.

Now faith is being SURE of what we hope for and CERTAIN of what we do not see. (Hebrews 11.1)

Jesus fulfilled more than 100 prophecies written hundreds of years earlier about his birth, life, death and resurrection. He is knowable! I agree with you the "blind" faith is dumb! Why would anyone believe in what they cannot know. But Jesus IS knowable my friend.

Why do all you nay sayers think all Christians are "blind and unquestioning?"

Many Christians are doctors. Scientists. I myself have read a TON of books. Both pro and con.

Leave the bigotry at home please.

You are begging the question.

You are assuming that faith is a good thing to begin with.

Which many would believe that is it not.
