Hi there everybody! My name is Paulo. I'm a Portuguese and English studant at Univerity and I wanna know how does Portuguese (Brazilian one) sounds to you... I'm really curious!

For us, Brazilian people, English seems to be common, and nobody thinks more of people they listen speaking English than they must be important, because English is everywhere here, plurality of songs at the radios here are in English, although no one understands a word...

Your R sound is uncofortable to us, like in the word WORLD, and GIRL... it is pathetic!

Our R's are like in Home (the H sound), house, etc... of the sound of the "at all" when you say it fastly in the end of breaf sentences... -the mix of the -t sound with the -a.... kinda --a(r)all... you got it?

That's it!!! Also say what you listen about my country!!! Hehehe!

ITALIAN BOY CONFESSION

Bless me Father, for I have sinned. I have been with a loose woman.
The priest ask, "Is that you, little Johnny Parisi?

Yes, Father it is.

And who was the woman you were with?

I can't tell you , Father. I don't want to ruin her reputation.

Well, Johnny, I'm sure to find out her name sooner or later, so you may as well tell me now. Was it Tina Minetti?
I cannot say.
Was it Teresa Volpe?

I'll never tell.

Was it Nina Capeli?

I'm sorry but I cannot name her.

Was it Cathy Piriano?
My lips are sealed.

Was it Rosa Di Angelo, then?
Please, Father, I cannot tell you.

The priest sighs in frustration. You're very tight lipped, Johnny Parisi and I admire that.
But you've sinned and have to atone. You cannot attend church services for 4 months.
Now you go and behave yourself.

Johnny walks back to his pew, and his friend Nino slides over and whispers,

What'd you get?
Four months vacation and five good leads........

Materialism leads to determinism, leads to rationalism, leads to atheism, leads to nihlism. Sorry, these are simple conclusions that cannot be obfuscated.

I feel like the 20s are a period when people are allowed a few mistakes, but when people reach their 30s and they are put to tests, I think they are more significant. Does anyone else agree?

Because the doghouse is for everyone sometimes, right?

I have to say, my abilities to sing and cook have saved me far too many times. Singing--Willie Nelson's "Always on my Mind" is a forever favorite. Cooking--I'm vegetarian, and will only touch raw meat for her if she's really bummed out or I've been absolutely hateful. This is when I start asking my mom how she made her turkey tetrazzini or look up things to do with beef.

If meat and country love songs can't at least start to fix it, I'm in *real* trouble.

How about y'all?

Walking around and getting people to smile, don't think it would cost them anything ? Last time I checked, you don't have to pay to smile (last time I checked). Especially in the tube. That place is grimy. We need SMILES !!!

Obvsiously, evolution is wrong because... well, science is complicated and makes my head hurt... it's a lot easier to say that the Flying Spaghetti Monster (FSM) did it all instead of having to educate myself about all the science stuff.

So, as you see, it's obvious that evolution is wrong and the FSM created everything.

Why won't people accept this?
Are they made at the One True God of Spaghetti?

Clearly, those who reject the Truth must have some kind of personal issues. How can we help them see?
