you have no idea how much trouble. yes 'w' was the representation for six prior to the numeric symbols we use today. There is a huge theory that goes along with this issue... 'www' or 666 the "world wide web" and we are all getting stuck in it. it has been rumoured that the anti-christ is already amongst us. It has been stated that by the year 2050 every household will be connected to the net throught their T.V's. It is also prophesized that the anti-christ will present himself to the entire world at one instant. Our new favourite technology will give the anti-christ the ability to fulfill this prophesy. It is also rumoured that he is closely associated with 'APPLE'... seriously.... have a good look at their logo. nice, a bite taken from an apple. seems somehow familiar!

For one "w" is transliterated as two "vavs" in hebrew, so that would produce 6-6-6-6-6-6.
Furthermore, it wouldn't be 666666, but 36. (Even if w was transliterated as a vav, the numerical value would still be 18, not 666.)
