"Yes." They are subject to the same laws of our country. They have a sense of right and wrong. They must work with people and being unethical in society would not serve them well. However, an Atheists' morals are not absolute. They do not have a set of moral laws from an absolute God by which right and wrong are judged. Christianity teaches love, patience, and seeking the welfare of others even when it might harm the Christian; In contrast, the atheists' presuppositions must be evolutionary. Since evolution teaches that life is the product of nature - survival of the fittest, natural selection, and equating humans to animals as a species are the ontological basis for our existence. With this the value of man is lowered. It is a very high calling to treat people properly who also are made in the image of God. To an atheist, ethics must be variable and evolving. This could be good or bad. But, given human nature being what it is, I'll opt for the moral absolutes based on Gods Law.

to reitterate if a person only becomes a preist to succure his place in heaven is this not a display of his greed of wanting more than he would need in a afterlife? For what man truely diserves heaven?

So I was at a restaurant with my friend enjoying some lunch. Behind me was a boy no older than 19 (I'm 20 by the way). While me and my friend were talking, I was unaware that my underwear was showing. Also, apparantely just a TINY bit of my crack was showing. While I'm talking, I feel something cold and hard fall down my underwear. I stand up, and dig in my underwear until I find a shiny quarter. Turns out the boy sitting behind me had slipped it in there to notify that everyone in the whole restaurant could see my underwear. I glare at him angerly, because I knew he was lying, for as if he was truly trying to be polite, he would have whispered it to me, or slipped me a note, not put a coin down my underwear.

What do you people think? Should I have slapped the boy?

One thing must be said ASAP: Anyone going for that crap about male circumcision being same as female is clueless. If it's the same why is it that a circumcised male can still HAVE ORGASMS and ENJOY SEX but a "circumcised" female will NEVER experience orgasm?! Maybe b/c they remove her entire clitoris? Anyway, the question: Imam Mufti Ebrahim Desaiat said at an ask an Imam type of website that "female circumcision pleases Allah and increases her husband's sexual pleasure" (?!). Last year I was asked to take my then fiancé’s daughter to a doctor's appt....they are Muslim and from West Africa. The Doc and I talked alone after the exam and she carefully informed me this beautiful,11 yo girl's clitoris and labia had obviously been removed. I slid down a wall and cried hysterically (he's my ex now of course). I knew they were'nt the most pro-woman group on the planet but damnnn! Is this barbaric, woman-hating practice officially encouraged by ISLAM?! Is it in the Quran?! Someone tell me pls?

How come when a black person gets pulled over by a white cop, the black person cries rasicm and harrassment. Files a complaint against the force and the officer is put on a leave of absence.

Same thing when a black guy has a gun and points it at a cop and the cop shoots. The family of the black guy files a complaint and the white officer it put on leave of absence while it is investigated.

A white guy points a gun at cop and the cop shoots and the white guy goes to jail, with no complaints from his family....

why cant blacks just accept the fact they get pulled over for speading just like white people do.

why do blacks think it is ok for them to shoot a white cop.... the families of white people who have a loved one shot by a cop do not file a suit....

i am not being racist... but why don't black accept responsibility for their actions and stop crying racism.

Part one

1. what thoughts would you think to help you not denounce it?

2.or would you denounce it even if you didn't mean it to avoid the torture?

Also answer part two

1. if you didn't denounce it, could you keep doing so if they increased the torture and pain?

2. if you denounced it earlier and they then killed you anyway would God forgive you if the torture was too horrific to bear?

I work in a restaurant in a small town preparing greasy fried nasties and tasty gravy for local inbred, redneck types. If I am helping to hasten their death by promoting premature dietary related illnesses caused by unhealthy eating, can I consider myself as one who is doing God's work?

If we adapt the fundamental principles we adapt when we want to have piece in any setting, being it at home, school or anywhere, we can transfer the same principles to the world at large to achieve piece.
To achieve piece it requires a mutual will, desire, understanding and honesty to reach a win win situation for the benefit of all parties involved. It requires altruism and care for others, to treat others as we want others to treat us. It requires the disposition and willingness to take the first step and seat down with the other party and probe into the possibilities of possible solutions and find out why we are apart and why we think different. Find common grounds and seek an impartial and honest modus vivendi for all parties involved. It requires understanding and the will to listen and pay attention. It requires an open mind and logical and rational conversation to find out if our misunderstandings are just beliefs being false or true and on what grounds are they based on.

I don't understand anything about Scientology, but they claimed that they're Christian. If they're Christian, what make them call themselves Scientologist and not Christian? What make them to be different? Are they even the same as Christian?
Are they the same as Anglican, Uniting Church, Orthodox etc ?

Please. I don't wish to see any bashing or hate messages ok? And please read my whole post before answering.
The Bible says that man lying with man is wrong am I not right? It's stated in the bible so no one can really argue with that.
However if you understand homosexuals, I am one by the way, you will know that they have same sex attractions due to some genetic stuff and is not of choice.
Homosexuals face condemnation from other Christians on a daily basis and I don't know anyone who would want to put up with that. You don't know how much I wish to be straight and it's really sad actually.
Homosexuals who are religious, such as myself, read many passages quoted from the Bible saying how they are not welcome to the kingdom of God. It's really hard to put up with the Bible contradicting your thinking. I can't help but have those same sex attractions as much as I would like to change but can't.

Try putting yourself into the shoes of a homosexual and imagine how you would think.

From what I hear of Christian faith, a faitful will go to heaven and live an eternal life. The rest will go to hell which I think best described as an eternal life without God. When I die, I want to die completely and nothing left of me, not even a soul nor eternal life of any kind. Is there something in the Bible that can help me accomplish that? Thanks!
