From what I hear of Christian faith, a faitful will go to heaven and live an eternal life. The rest will go to hell which I think best described as an eternal life without God. When I die, I want to die completely and nothing left of me, not even a soul nor eternal life of any kind. Is there something in the Bible that can help me accomplish that? Thanks!

purgatory is your only other option. your soul is eternal, live with it.

Christians don’t all believe the same thing. Some believe hell is a place of eternal death. That you do not burn in hell forever tormented. You are dead for eternity with no remembrance of you. This is very sad to choose this over life on earth or possibly a life with God in heaven. Read the Lord’s prayer. There you are praying for a life here on earth as it is in heaven. So I believe there will be life always here on earth. God will see to that. He is the Almighty. Man does not have all the answers. God does. Put your faith in God. Everything will be alright. Pray to God, God will understand.

Bible? Christian? Is all that really true? Or it is much like Grimm's Fairy Tales. Why not become a Pagan and then you can go to the Summerland. A lot more fun and we don't have a hell. Instead of going to hell, a bad pagan would have to return for another life with some kind of christian belief like say, Bible? Christianity? and be scared to death of hell. te he hope you appreciate the levity. no offense.
but why would you want to have nothing left. Even us Pagans believe in the immortal soul....it is the real and permanent part of you...the body is temporary and sometimes makes you sad...all that goes away after death when you become happy and jubulient in the Summerland!

Hell is not a burning fiery place of torture. It is the common grave. The bible tells us that when we die we are unconscious (see Excc. (9:5,10) which says "The living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all) At Jeremiah 7:31 God said that burning someone up in a fire was something that had never even come up in to his heart.
The teaching of hellfire is based on old Babylonian religion, not on the Bible. So you don't have to fear death at all.

I think that religion is something that is believed becuase human beings have a basic fear of what will happen in the afterlife: To be frank, the most logical is nothing. Think about it: the bible is something that was written thousands of years ago which states that your "soul" will magically rise up to this infinite called "heavan" where all will be merry and peacefull. But the reality is that we can't conclude that as of now since we are have no physical evidence at all to prove that!

At the moment you were conceived in your mother's womb, you became an immortal being.

Why in the world would you not want to spend eternity in heaven?
Here's what the Bible says: "It is appointed unto man once to die, after that the judgment,"
You're going to one of two places when you die. I hope and pray it's heaven.

Even purgatory involves existing and you would eventually go to heaven. I guess if you really want nothing you just have to hope that there is no God.

Well you weren't anywhere before you were born. Why do you think it is going to be different when you die?

I really don't. Christians apparently need hell to scare them into being moral.

I'm not sure how to tell you this....but there isn't any other destination. There is heaven, for those who accept Jesus as savior, and there is hell for those who reject Him. Please remember, God is the one who has decided these things; we don't get a choice in the matter other than which of the two places we will spend eternity.

Well, I am sorry to to say when you die you will be judged on how you used your free agency. There are three kingdoms in heaven, you will be chosen for those three or hell.

I'm sure we can add something to the manmade bible to fit you in there, everything else in the bible has been adjusted as such.
