If you lost your entire immediate family (one death after another) in a matter of 18 months, how would you feel, what would you do? I have more death certificates than i can shake a stick at. Nov 2004, oldest brother to esophageal cancer, Jan 2005, Dad, heart attack, Feb 17 2005, Mom, system failure due to years of alcohol abuse, Oct 14 2006, Brother, drove his acclaim into a propane tanker with high suspicion of intent.

I asked a question if non-believers had rejected the Holy spirit and I am so amazed at the responses...from that question, I got accused of being arrogant, stupid, a druggie, etc..

Jesus said when He died He would not leave us comfortless. He sent His Holy Spirit to comfort us, convict us, encourage us.

When Jesus is knocking on your door He is sending His Holy Spirit
to save you and become His. How can I explain this experience?

he knocked on my door at age 29 (I am now 32)....I felt Him tugging on my heart...I felt wretched for the way I had been living...I knew I needed a Saviour. I asked Him to come in and he did. He forgave me of my sins and accepted me as His child.
What is arrogant or confusing about that?
I am so saddened by the naiveness of everyone.

I want to go to a church to meet some hot christian girl. I havent been to a church since I can remember and have no idea what happens inside. When you first show up are you supposed to do anything, sign in, or tell someone you there? ** Would it look weird if a guy went in there by himself. (honestly would it look weird) How much are you supposed to put in the bowl that is passed around? When inside, when is the best time to talk to people. How are you supposed to dress?

Do sperm cells have souls? How about convicted criminals? Coma patients? Murder is murder? Not a religious issue?
My religious and spiritual beliefs say that the soul doesn't enter the body until the moment of birth. And in the case of miscarriage or abortion, that same soul will return for the next child you bare. My son proved this to me! Now, how can you say it isn't a religious issue?
The body is simply a house for the soul.

Of course here I am speaking to real Pagans/Wiccans not the ones who come to play dress up or the ones who are still going to their Christian churches. I would love to live the perfect Wiccan life but have yet to find any coven/group/organization that actually practices this. Anyone else find it? What do you think?

Ok, well, I came out to my parents last weekend, and my Mom was like, "Ok." I asked her what she meant, and she told me that she had suspected for quite some time, especially when I didn't date in high school. (Small community, not many "out" people)

When I told my Dad, he didn't really say much. After a couple minutes of awkward silence, he said "Ok." Later, my Mom said he told her that he was disappointed in me. I decided to test the water a little by telling him that he could tell people (specifically his side of the family) and he changed the subject on me!!!

I figured it could be shock, but my Mom said that he wouldn't talk too much about it; other than to ask her how she felt about it, and whether or not she knew. He asked her if she was going to tell anyone, and my Mom said she would. After talking with my Mom again since, she said he hasn't really discussed it with her even though she tries to get him to talk with her.

Do you guys have any idea what I should do next?

YYou do realize that fetuses at the abortion stage have the consciousness of a lizard, they don't yearn for a future life, and if the could vocalize anything it would be I want food, re-connect me to the placenta. I can understand the cherishing of life, but if you cherish life so much, then you should never kill a living being, don't even take anti-biotics because that bacteria has a consciousness and potential, right?

I'm talking about religious zealots who think they have THE answer to existence. They know the ulitimate unknown. They know who created us and what happens in the afterlife. And if you're a religous zealot and your answe is "faith", explain faith to me. Where does this faith come from? When did you first find this faith? And why your religion over the countless others that have come before? The ones we can trace your's back to? Why does your book prove to you what happens to us when we die? Why do you believe a story told to you by your parents, that was told to them by their parents, and their parents? A story thousands and thousands of years old? A story that simple research will show beyond a shadow of a doubt has evolved since the dawn of mankind? I know what it's like to believe in something. I believe we are a part of something greater. But I don't claim to know it all like many of you do. I don't claim to have all the answers like some of you. What makes you feel you know it all
