Adam and Eve were first...the garden of Eden was believed to have been somewhere in or around modern day Iraq....Well they were the first Jews so they were Hebrew.

The variations of race, etc...came from the Tower of babel when the people tried to build a tower to heaven....God got angry and cursed them making them all speak different languages, etc...

The idea that ADAM and EVE were the first humans on Earth is false. They were the first of the race we call Israelites. Other wise how could they have meet other tribes outside of the Garden of EDEN when they were escorted out for fear that they would find and eat of the fruit of the tree of life and become like onto gods.

The majority of people in every race, wants to claim that Adam and Eve come from the same ethnic background. Only God god knows what color Adam and Eve were. It makes no difference to me what color they were. As far as the second part to your question; I have no idea. They're really great questions though; they really made me think!

God Bless.

Adam and Eve were actually able to produce the spectrum of colour and differences you see in all the people of the world today. The gene pool has changed & mutated over time, and the big separation happened at the tower of Babel and then once separated those folks lost the ability to produce all races. The diffference genetically between the races is incredibly small - like less than 1%. God bless you. ~Nise~

Please don't tell anyone else but the story of Adam and Eve is just a story. The reason there is variation of races in the human community is because of evolution. People have adapted to the environment that they live in.If a characteristic benefited the group then it was passed on to the next generation. Simple as that. A darker skin would benefit someone in a area where the sun shines higher in the sky because it will protect them.

{my thoughts} we'll never know!the bible says they were made in the image of {GOD}so they were made to look like god,{to answer your second question,look up the tower of babel!men came together and said hey lets make a tower to the heavens and they set out to do so{if you amazed at how the egyptians made the pyrimids amagin how amazed youd be to see the whole nations of the world making one tower to the heavens}and it looks like they could have done it but god decieded NO well confuse the laungages so they wont be able to all work together,{so they did and and different laungages were made and the people of the earth dispersed into other parts of the world with there own peopple laungage and depending on the climet or atmusfear and food in that region they grew taller or had lighter skin or darker {these are my thoughts!}

they were African and had dark skin coloration.
however, as some of them moved to Europe and other parts of the world where there was not as much sun exposure, their dark skin inhibited the absorption of sunlight and people started having problems with vitamin D synthesis. so it was more avantageous to have lighter colored skin to absorb sunlight, but the down side was a higher incidence of skin cancer due to the UV. but the vitamin D issue was more important, that's why people to the far north (like the scandanavians) have very fair skin.

Remember, it's all about the melanin. Here is a great explanation about the evolution of humans from the original Africans with relation to their skin color

Nobody knows but probably the dark middle eastern color.As the races spread out they changed darker or lighter depending on how much sun they had to contend with.The races came from Noah's 3 sons,Ham (basically Africa,and spread to the South Pacific)Shem(the area of mesopotamia and up to eastern Europe,and Japheth,(from Greece up to Norway and across to Russia).

According to some scientists, the first person on earth may have been a black woman in Africa. I don't know how the different races and colors evolved.

Actually, they have found some of the first human remains around Kenya, Africa.

They eventually migrated, well, some of them, and then Pangea seperated.

The people by the poles came to adapt, so their hair became more slick and their skin lighter.

The ones by the equator were of course darker (due to the amount of sun they were absorbing) and their hair was naturally corser and curly (so you release body heat by sweating easier).

It's just... biology.
