I'm going crazy!!!! I have been a straight person my entire life. Never even thought of being with another woman but have recently met someone that I am crazy about. I was attracted to her the very first time I saw her. We enjoy each other's company and I am so happy/giddy when I'm with her. We have "made out" a few times and it just seems so natural but in the back of my mind I feel like it should not feel this "right". I'm sooooo confused. I'm not a little girl and I don't think this is " a phase" but I also would not consider myself a lesbian. I'm not attracted to other women. Could it be true that you really fall in love with a "person" , not a sexual preference? Please some advice and words of encouragement!

Of what use is improved knowledge skills in a world plagued by increasing war, crime, and violence? If education was serving its true purpose as a medium of socialization shouldn't there be greater harmony among community members at both the micro and macro levels?

I was arguing with a man about some abstract crap that no one really cared about and he was getting furious. Now I'm standing there in blue jeans and a tshirt, tattoos and piercings, scars from years of hard labor and looking at him like a bug when he talks. I was listening but his anger was too amusing.

He was 5 years older than me, and wearing slacks and a polo shirt. Then he says the thing that set me off. He said, "I was the pastor of a small baptist church for 7 years. I left the ministry but I am still a follower. Everytime you use foul language with me I just want to smack you." So I camly replied, "Sir. Even if you were currently a minister that title is about as important as "janitor" in the way I would treat you. Because you taught people about god doesn't make you him. You can try to smack me, but you had better pray the lord shows up."

Was I wrong to feel that way? Does being a minister hold weight as to how you should treat a person?

I'm white and that is fine with me, what's wrong with the term black? If the term African-American is used for blacks, shouldn't European-American be used for whites to keep things consistent?

People that are offended by the term black largely seem like they are just following the current "trend" and can't really create their own argument on the subject.

Alright, i'm a lesbian, "but nobody knows..." I havn't directly let anyone know anyway. And there is this beautful, perfect girl, (she is gay too.) only i'm not brave enough to tell her "I ADORE YOU!". Though I continue to try and make conversation with her, it just comes out as akward, like i'm socially inept. I am about to let go of this crush because I feel that if she had any interest in me at all, she approach me. The thing is she may be shy. I'm just afraid of rejection. How do I deal?

In Genesis 1 God said let there be light (v.3) the 1st day. But, in verse 14 the stars & sun were created to give earth light. Where did the light in v.3 come from. Usually you create the stars & sun first, not the daylight. In v.9 water appeared over all the earth. Then dry land appeared. Usually you create the dry land first then add the water. Does this make sense?
