The only source I can find dates back to late 2001. Where are the voices of Islam calling for peace among their brothers?

As far as overseas - all of them dismiss violence against civilians as forbidden in Islam. Some of them won't be as outright for fear of revenge (death).

I hear it regularly condemned in mosques when the topic comes up. Student MSAs all condemn terrorism. All Muslims do for the most part (except extremists of course).

For some reason the media doesn't advertise this -- I guess because sensationalist US VERSUS THEM rhetoric makes them more money. God Knows.

Because most who feel that way live in fear for the lives of their family, friends and loved ones. In some countries even insinuating it can get you ex-communicated by your society and you are then treated like a leper!

So most prefer to keep quiet, as they want their families to be safe... and I think they dont want to suffer either
