I got a cheap, dull witch costume from target because I am broke. How can I mix it up so that I dont look to stupid??

!!!!TAKE IT BACK!!!!!GET YOUR MONEY AND GO TO GOODWILL...GET A BLACK DRESS AND CUT THE ENDS AND MAKE THEM RAGGETY,,,PUT A BELT AROUND YOUR WAIST AND CUT UP THE SLEEVES AND MAKE THE NECKLINE CUT UP AND RAGGETY ALSO... GET SOME SPRAY ON GLUE FROM THE FABRIC STORE AND SPRAY THE COSTUME WITH IT AND PUT SOME BLACK GLITTER ON IT THE SPRAY GLUE WILL HOLD THE GLITTER IN PLACE,,,IF YOU WANT IT SEXY THEN MAKE YOUR CUTS MORE PLUNGING AND IF NOT MAKE THEM SUTTLE...ALSO AT GOODWILL FIND A BLACK SKIRT ...FOR A CAPE...CUT THE SKIRT IN HALF BUT LEAVE THE WAIST UNCUT USE THE WAIST AS YOUR CONNECTION AROUND YOUR NECK... MAKE THE CUTS JAGGETY ON THE SKIRT FOR YOUR CAPE,, TAKE ELMERS GLUE AND MAKE STARS AND A MOON ON THE BACK OF THE CAPE AND SPRINKLE SILVER GLITTER ON IT AND LET IT DRY 24 HOURS... GET A WITCH HAT AND PUT STARS AND MOON ON IT TO MATCH THE CAPE...WHERE BLACK NYLONS AND RIP THEM WITH RUNS OR TIGHTS....OR BLACK FISHNET STOCKINGS...WHERE BLACK HIGHHEELS OR BLACK BOOTS...MAKE YOUR MAKEUP VERY PALE WHITE AND DARK BLACK EYES AND BLACK LIPS AND A MOLE ON YOUR CHEEK OR NOSE... YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO PUT THIS TOGETHER FOR LESS THAN 20 BUCKS...HIT THE GOODWILL OR RECYCLED CLOTHS STORES...WALMART FOR GLUE AND GLITTER HOSE AND HAT...ADD SOME SPIDER JEWELRY AND LONG PRESS ON BLACK NAILS TOO....HAVE FUN AND STAY SAFE...VOTE FOR ME!!!! PERSONALITY - - -- I have seen dazzling costumes done in by dull uninteresting people and I have seen interesting exciting people zazz the most insipid costumes. The next item is to accessorize! A ragged bit of black cloth can be a shawl. A 'fake' large spider can become your precious pet! Here is a idea; carry around one of those 'Swifter Broom Mops' to show that you are a modern witch. But truly what 'sells' a costume is You....

Sew sequences on it or bead work, or add feather or flowers. Add ribbons or lacing to make it fancier. Otherwise, you could glue on on plastic spiders if you want to go the creepy route. Make a cape or corset to go with the costume. Buy some tulle from a fabric store and add make a puffy skirt to wear underneath to make your dress fuller, but make it longer than the dress so it sticks out of the bottom. Use the same tulle to make your hat fancier; wrap it around the base of the hat and have some hang off as a veil.

Buy some long fingernails and paint red,buy some kool looking colored socks for the legs and get a new broom for her to carry,buy the make up and she will feel like a special witch!Paint her face green!find a cheap long black wig piece!

add color to it or a mix of old halloween costume accersories...like a cat tail, paint something on your face, or tie stuff to your hat. also, you could cut off the sleeves and you could be a biker witch. wear lots of jewelry and do something weird with your hair. wear awesomely freaky makeup and stuff like that. its been working for me for the past three years.

glitter goes along way..like some cool purple glitter..my boss one year actually took a normal witch costume and wore it with fishnets and took little rubber rats that you find in the pet aisle and turned them into earrings..she also did fake eyelashes and really dark makeup..she was the sexiest witch I ever saw:D

I'm doing it the other way around before the witch costume gets too small..

Go big on the makeup and accessorize with lots of gaudy jewelry and a broom is only some straw, string and a stick away.

glitterize! haha. you can always add some 'pizzazz' by adding dots of sparkles, ribbons, and sometimes even scraps of pretty material. you can also add striped stockings, kinda like the witches in Wizard of Oz... best of luck to ya!

make some cool socks like the peppy longstockings and make your hat the funniest you can.. . get some ugly warts from the dollar store and some make uo from there, too.
