Quran 17:88 "If the whole of mankind and Jinns were to gather together to produce the like of this Qur'an, they could not produce the like thereof, even if they backed up each other with help and support. http://www.usc.edu/dept/MSA/quran/017.qmt.html#017.088

The Quran boasts that even if the race of magical Genies and the race of humans got together, they could never ever make something "like" the Quran.

Lets assume for the moment that the Quran is correct, and there is magical smokey Genie creatures living around us right now. Whats so hard about making something "like" a book...any book for that matter?

Also, isnt this challange itself a logical fallacy? Isnt it a false dilemma to claim that you cant make something "like" X and never explain how to measure whether something is or is not like X?

For example, suppose I issue this challange "My every written word comes from the mind of God, if you dont believe me, try to type something like what I have written".

Ok, me and this guy have been best friends for three years, and I'm pretty positive that he likes me. Lately every day we give each other a passage to read from the bible that reminds us of each other. I'm waiting for the day he gives me a passage in the bible that might vicariously hint towards him saying he likes me. Stupid.....yes, I know. So does anyone know any bible passages that I can give him that hints towards my feelings for him? Please try not to be mean, I'm just curious to see what people may come up with. I'm not a religious freak either!! It's just a hobby between me and him.

So the thing is, I was raised Christian. I went to Church until I was sixteen when I got thrown out. I used to believe in Jesus, I accepted him into my heart, I prayed for him to save me and forgive me. But I don't really believe any more and have not for several years now. Am I still saved or did Jesus take it back?

Let me start by saying that both my Mother-in-Law (MIL) and I are Catholic. I allow my MIL to worship in her way but I expect that she allow me to worship in my way. For example, she makes us take communion from her (eucharistic minister) if we don't attend church on Sunday.

My MIL often does things that I disagree with in terms of the raising/influencing of my 13 month old. My MIL has a miniature Jesus "doll" in her kitchen that she makes my daughter kiss every time she walks into the kitchen. Additionally, she wears a crucifix around her neck and has my daugther kiss it every time she picks her up. She has insisted to me that my daughter (and any other children that I have) MUST go to Catholic school because her children did and that is the "right" thing to do. I am concerned about having more children at this point because I don't know how to communicate to my MIL that I don't want her to continue to do these things.

Please help!

My family and I live in Rural Arkansas and my son goes to an all white school. To promote harmony and awareness his school has decided to devote a week to Black Heritgage and tonight he has to write a report on Black Heritage of the 20th century. This must be from the years 1900 to 2000. What we need are examples of jobs/careers that your parents, grandparents, and great-parents have or had and stories they may have handed down. Their beliefs and religions. Where they were raised. Favorite foods, hobbies, traditions, memories, etc. Be as creative as you need to.

h) Most of my male friends get their hair trimmed, including the hair around their temples, even though this is expressly forbidden by Lev 19:27. How should they die?

i) I know from Lev 11:6-8 that touching the skin of a dead pig makes me unclean, but may I still play football if I wear gloves?

j) My uncle has a farm. He violates Lev 19:19 by planting two different crops in the same field, as does his wife by wearing garments made of two different kinds of thread (cotton/polyester blend). He also tends to curse and blaspheme a lot. Is it really necessary that we go to all the trouble of getting the whole town together to stone them? (Lev 24:10-16) Couldn't we just burn them to death at a private family affair like we do with people who sleep with their in-laws? (Lev. 20:14)
Thank you for your help.

Or for that matter if they stopped your heart on purpose for an operation at that point do you stop being a human being because you have no heartbeat? This is the argument that I hear from you alot about there is no heartbeat in a fetus so there is no human baby.

The following story has apeared on Yahoo!News today:-

A 25-year-old man has admitted murdering PC Sharon Beshenivsky. The news emerged after a judge lifted an order which had prevented Muzzaker Imtiaz Shah's plea being reported. PC Beshenivsky, 38, was shot dead as she responded to an alleged armed robbery at Universal Express Travel Agents in Bradford on November 18, 2005.

She was shot on her daughter Lydia's fourth birthday.

Four men remain on trial at Newcastle Crown Court for the murder and robbery.

They include Yusuf Abdillh Jamma, 20, of Small Heath, Birmingham; Raza ul Haq Aslam, 25, of Kentish Town, north London; Faisal Razzaq, 25, and his 26-year-old brother Hassan, both of Forest Gate, east London.

Shah entered the guilty plea to the murder charge on October 4.

An order was made preventing publication of the admission but that has now been lifted.

What did the judge consider was of paramount importance when the 'gag' order was made? What has changed since?

What have you found to be the best lubricant for Fleshlight?
I have used KY jelly, vegetable oil, etc. BUT I have to keep adding lubricant over and over, again and again to keep it slippery
My biggest problem is how to keep the inside of the fleshlight warm? The inside cools off after a very short time.
