When I was a kid we were poor and my mother didn't care much about doing anything to get us ready for Halloween so we would go as a Hobo. We dressed in men's clothes...all too big of course...put dark color on our faces like dirt or a 5 o'clock shadow and carried a bag on a stick. It was fun. Nothing like the costumes you see these days though.

You don't hint at your age but there are lots of asy costumes you can make at home. Robot: Box painted silver and silver funnel for a hat - buttons and dials for embellishment. Ghost: White sheet 2 holes done. Logger: Jeans, plaid shirt, red sweater hat and paint on stubble. Victim: street clothes and a wax wound with broken plastic or chicken bone sticking out covered in fake blood. Decade dude: Dress like a blast from the past. These are just a few there are more at the link below.

depends on your age and what you're able to make or have in the house

you can choose weird clothes and go as a tourist--put on sun block stuff, white shorts, black socks and a Hawaiian short and carry a camera and map...

Drag queen or just a ugly chick, a dog (becuz most boys are), a nudist ( your birthday suit) , Micheal jackson, candy (tell girls you taste sweet).
