So the thing is, I was raised Christian. I went to Church until I was sixteen when I got thrown out. I used to believe in Jesus, I accepted him into my heart, I prayed for him to save me and forgive me. But I don't really believe any more and have not for several years now. Am I still saved or did Jesus take it back?

I reread my question and I need to clarify or it will be like slandering my old church. It didn't kick me out. I got in a fight with my stepdad and called the police and ended up getting kicked out/left home to live with the parents' of a friend. But he went to that church so it would have been ugly to keep going there. Anyway that really doesn't have much to do with my lack of believe. I just don't anymore and you either belief and have faith or you don't and my old beliefs all seem a bit silly now.

The Bible speaks of salvation in three states. First, salvation from past sins (Mark 16:16), second, maintain a present salvation (Rev 2:10), and third a future salvation in heaven (John 5:28-29). If we obey the commands of Jesus to believe and be baptized, we are saved from past sins; if we remain faithful till death, we will receive a future salvation. So I would advise you to get right with God so that you can ensure that you receive eternal life.

No human being can answer this question. You say you were kicked out of a Church, but don't tell us why. Was it because you stated you don't believe, or for another reason? Were you influenced to no longer believe because of the Church's decision?

At least one answerer has pointed out the old saying, "once saved, always saved." However, this only applies if a person was TRULY saved. Again, no human being can answer that. Only Jesus Christ is qualified to judge this.

If I were you, I wouldn't count on being saved; assume you're not and take whatever step you are guided to take next. If the thought of being unsaved upsets you, repent, turn back to Jesus, and live under His commandments. If, on the other hand, the feeling of being unsaved doesn't bother you, do nothing.

Better safe than sorry, honey.

I wish you peace.

OK, Jesus will love u no matter what. No matter what u do or say he will. he loves u not the sin. Ask for forgiveness and u will be saved again. Just because u were saved b4 doesn't exactly mean u r going 2 go 2 Heaven if u died today But I promise u, if u really want him and to be saved then 'Ask and you shall receive.' But I promise u he still loves u. Just get back in2 church and ask for forgiveness. Ill be praying for you.

The term is back slid-en. I guess your young and having all kinds of fun and it probably bothers you if your conscience tells you your doing wrong. But if you keep doing things that are wrong your conscience will bother you less and less until that kind of stuff doesn't bother you at all. But later in life you may come back to believing in Jesus and your conscience will be recharged. Go visit a nursing home some time and check out the people that believe in God. They are happy. The ones that don't are scared.

Nothing can pluck you out of Jesus' hand once saved. That just the devil getting you to doubt. Jesus is merciful and forgiving and will always love you.

Huh? Your question contradicts itself. If you don't believe, what "saving" are you talking about? Either you DO believe and your salvation matters or you DON'T and there isn't any.

Can you be a "Republican" if you don't believe in Capitalism? Can you call yourself a "Trekkie" if you hate "Star Trek"?

You need your brain ironed.

I'm sure that at one point you also believed in Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny. It's kind of like that, only you had to figure this one out for yourself.
