h) Most of my male friends get their hair trimmed, including the hair around their temples, even though this is expressly forbidden by Lev 19:27. How should they die?

i) I know from Lev 11:6-8 that touching the skin of a dead pig makes me unclean, but may I still play football if I wear gloves?

j) My uncle has a farm. He violates Lev 19:19 by planting two different crops in the same field, as does his wife by wearing garments made of two different kinds of thread (cotton/polyester blend). He also tends to curse and blaspheme a lot. Is it really necessary that we go to all the trouble of getting the whole town together to stone them? (Lev 24:10-16) Couldn't we just burn them to death at a private family affair like we do with people who sleep with their in-laws? (Lev. 20:14)
Thank you for your help.

It's amazing how they go running to their Old Testament whenever they want to impose their will on others, then run from it when it doesn't support their agenda. Interesting also how thier quotes are valid, but quotes of those who refuse to accept their nonsense are always "out of context," even when the entire passage is presented.

They're sort of like spiritual roaches. Turn the light on and they scurry to another room. Turn on the light in that room and they scurry to another.

I'd love to see them stand up in their churches and explain that the Old Testament is no longer valid.

This is old testement law. we are no longer under the law.
Hebrews 8:6,7,13 ...He [Christ] is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises. For if that first covenant [the Law of Moses] had been faultless, then no place would have been sought for a second....In that He says, "A new covenant," He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.

This nonsense again....

For the hundredth time, unless you, your uncle and your friends are Jewish, then they are not bound by Levitical law.

Jesus, Peter & Paul all said that the Law of Moses no longer applied under the New Testament, since the death of the messiah ushered in the age of grace.

Try reading the entire Bible next time, instead of just picking and choosing sentences out of context.

hair trimming was for nazerites, it was a specail promise they made between them an god.
\second questions:
that was under the mosiac law, it was fulfilled, and done away with when jesus died ( the law died with him)

god has the right to alter his way of doing things, but he never changes his purpose
for example
when he was destroying sodom, he was gonna send lot to the mountains, and destroy all the towns nearby.
lot begged to goto a town instead,
and god spared that town.

and while I'm at it,
jesus said ( of an evildoer that they were wanting to stone)
"let he who is without sin cast the first stone"

Are they Jewish, number one? Do they acknowledge God as their Father, number two? I am sure you answered no to at least one of them so they would not even begin to understand. No you may not play football, Women need to stay in their places and do what women do....clean, cook and take care of their families.

you have to understand we don't live by the laws that are in the old testament but by the ones that are the new testament. because when Jesus died for our sins all the laws were changed

h) is your male friend jewish?
i) are you jewish?
j) is your uncle jewish?

if none of the above are correct, then you don't have to follow the abovementioned laws anyway. so what does it matter to you? i can understand jews whining about it, but non-jews?
