I had a really disturbing dream last night where I was in a fight for my life against a home invader who happened to be a black man. I have a notion that the person in my dream might represent my shadow self, but I would like to know more about this theory before I start thinking too hard on it. I dreamed I needed to stab this invader to save my life and my partner's life (I am a European lesbian). As soon as the police arrived, he came back to life and attacked me. By the way, if you have anything racist to say about black people, or anything nasty to say about homosexuals, don't even bother answering my question, because I will report you to the yahoo authorities. Thanks for compassionate help

In the first chapter and first verse of I chronicles it states this.."Adam, Sheth, Enosh" which starts the family records from Adam to Abraham. The book of Luke states in chapter 3 verse 38,"Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God". Back in the book of Genesis it states chapter 5 verse 1.."This is the book of the generations of Adam................", verse 3 "And Adam lived a hundred and thrity years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image, and called his name Seth".
It's obivious to a student that Abel need not be mentioned, due to the fact that he died prior to have left heirs, (as was the fact with one of the son's of Jesse, King David's father, because one of his son's died, therefore he was not mentioned in Jesse's geneology.
Now my question is this..WHY isn't Cain in Adam's geneology? Why does Cain have his own Family record in Genesis 4:17-22.? Family is family, no matter what he did.

What happens if the man wants to have sex and the woman does not? Since women are not allowed to disobey, doesn't that take away their consent? I'm no lawyer, but I believe non-consentual sex is called RAPE...at least in the CIVILIZED world.

Could this mean that there is no such thing as rape in Muslim-run countries?

Why are some people believed and others are not? If one goes out of their way to do all that is allowed and possible to prove a point to another, then why are they disbelieved? Does a person's stature within a community, or their profession (occupation) make them more believable than others? Even if the truth is not wanted, shouldn't one at least have the common courtesy to acknowledge another by way of conversation to help solve an issue and bring it to closure? What do you think?

I mean, sure, they made him a saint, but his presence is barely noted in the bible, and considering how long that book was they didn't cut his lines due to deadlines or space. He was raising Gods son as if he were his own, so why aren't we allowed to know about him and learn from his example?

I've heard that English is based partially on Latin. Of course I know that Latin is a dead language, but I've heard that some people speak Pig Latin. How different is it from English? Is it harder than French?

a religion that that says I'm going to be punished with an eternity of pain, suffering, and torture?

Whenever I post comments poking fun at just how absurd and retarded christianity (along with all other religions) really is, I get some people telling me to respect it. My question, why? It says I'm going to burn in this place called hell for all eternity. Why should I respect that belief? What harm will making fun of it do?

Oh, and I really don't care what that sissy, momma's boy thinks either, so don't quote any propaganda from that stupid, little book full of fairy tales you guys love :)

This woman asks a horrible question.....well it is horrible to those of us who have experienced the loss of a child. I give her an angry, but honest response. She then emails me to further preach this crap to me (which is not scripturally based), sends me links to some page on how we should truly see death, and harass me regarding my dead son. Then she reports me and I get a violation notice. Here's the question:

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AgaOW41h0SVJd9hf67tVXqzsy6IX?qid=20061009110515AAGKkpK

If you want to see my response to her just email me. I'd be happy to share it with you, but I won't post it here so that I'm not offending anyone (or in danger of another violation....LOL)

Is this christ-like behavior? And do you all realize that it is christians like this that give you all a terrible name?
