My closest friend is the person I trust the most (I've known him since 1964). A friend I met in February, 2002, I trust almost as much.
I don't trust people I've known for less than 3 years. On the other hand, I don't trust my own emotions about anything, so I only trust myself in certain areas that are unsentimental.

My mom, and my friend Laurel. And most of my family come to think of it. I trust my boyfriend, but I don't believe I'll ever be able to trust any boyfriend like I can people that I've known since birth. it isn't the same.

The ones who have not let me down so far. I will forgive, but never forget. I will extend a certain amount of trust to someone I think I can trust, until they prove I can't trust them. Does that make sense to you & answer your question?
