In the first chapter and first verse of I chronicles it states this.."Adam, Sheth, Enosh" which starts the family records from Adam to Abraham. The book of Luke states in chapter 3 verse 38,"Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God". Back in the book of Genesis it states chapter 5 verse 1.."This is the book of the generations of Adam................", verse 3 "And Adam lived a hundred and thrity years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image, and called his name Seth".
It's obivious to a student that Abel need not be mentioned, due to the fact that he died prior to have left heirs, (as was the fact with one of the son's of Jesse, King David's father, because one of his son's died, therefore he was not mentioned in Jesse's geneology.
Now my question is this..WHY isn't Cain in Adam's geneology? Why does Cain have his own Family record in Genesis 4:17-22.? Family is family, no matter what he did.

Kapau L....thanks for the compliment. but knew that at the age of 8 when I started the Bible, 46 years ago. I know Satan is the Father, as Paul said "..as the serpent BEGUILED Eve......" beguiled=wholly seduced'. As christ said "Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one" OF=progeny.
