awesome! Congratulations! The angels in Heaven are having a party! Welcome to the family.
Do you have a church? Did you get "saved" through a certain church? Then tell everyone. Go to the information table and ask the head usher or better yet, tell a pastor and ask him what to do.
If you don't have a church, find a nondenominational church that teaches the Bible and even if you're new, find someone who seems friendly and tell them you're a brand new baby Christian. I've had people come up and tell me. I find out how old they are and some general interests and introduce them to someone that could help them get in a small group. Become part of a body of believers, you'll need/want/love the fellowship.
Find an ALPHA class if you can. I guess they teach you alot about your walk and there are other newbies in there.
The most important thing.....Satan will be on the attack. He doesn't usually attack non-believers because they already belong to him. He will start making you doubt, etc, that's why it's also important to talk to a strong Christian that you can ask any questions to. If you want to im me, I can help you find a church in your area and answer any questions or doubts you have.
The person that said stay off YA....was correct! If you MUST be on YA, don't go to religion & spirituality...it is a spiritual battleground. I'm doing a Bible study right now on spiritual warfare and it's blatant and it's got me putting on my armor every morning!
AND....last but not least, pray to God and ask him to guide you and protect you. & Read a Bible. I prefer the NIV or NLT and I suggest you get the "One Year Bible" or the Evidence Bible, New Testament. www.evidencebible.com has a lot of answers about Christianity. In the One Year Bible, just start on the date it is today. If you miss days, just go to the date that it is and don't worry if you miss a day or 2. You will see God's Word come alive, it's just so cool. Before you start you reading anytime you read the Bible, ask God to open your eyes and speak to you, etc.
God Bless you real good!

Well, Scott, congradulations. I would like to suggest some cd's from a Jew, Bob Fishman, who converted to Christianity. Called IT IS WRITTEN and published by St. Joseph Communications, inc. It tells of the prophesies in the Old Testament about Jesus. If you send me your e-mail I may be able to get them to you for free.
I would like you to read 2 Thessalonians 2:1-13 in which it tells us not to be deceived in any way. The world is full of error (erroneous ideas). I do my best to scrutinize and test for the truth. If Satan cannot tempt you physically he will tempt you mentally and spiritually. These are the three ways Jesus was tempted in the desert.
Finally, I strongly suggest you concentrate on these Biblical verses:
1. Changing Water Into Wine. John 2:1-12
2. Feeding the Multitude. Matthew 14:13-21; Mark 6:30-44; Luke 9:10-17; & John 6:1-14
3. John 6:48 & 55
4. The Passover of Our Lord. Matthew 26:26-30; Mark 14:22-26; Luke 22:14-20; 1 Corinthians 11:23:25.
5. The Road to Emmaus:Luke 24:13-35 & Mark 16:12-13.

You need to read God's word each day. I would suggest starting with the Gospel of John. If you do not have a Bible, you can use one of the Internet Bibles such as this one:
http://www.biblegateway.com/
Pray every day too. Prayer is simply talking with God.
I would suggest also that you find a good Bible teaching church and attend regularly and perhaps join a couple of Christian groups on the Internet. You are welcomed to join Shattered Men. Although we focus on abuse, we do very strongly point to the LORD in most of our advise and you would be able to ask questions to help you grow.

Here is a few things that helped me.
1 Get a KJV Bible and start reading it in the book of Saint John in the
New Testament.
2 Always PRAY AND ASK GOD TO TEACH YOU.You have the Holy Spirit in you and He will lead and guide you.
3 Run with your brothers and sisters in Christ they will give you a lot
of encouragement.
4 Be sure and go to Sunday School and Church and study your
group lessons.
If you need any help go to TJ57 Blog and find my e-mail I would be
glad to help if I can.God Bless you you will never be sorry for your
choice.

Well, it would be difficult to answer that question completely becuase there's so much to say about that.
You should definitely be meeting with a mature Christiain regularly for 'discipleship'. They should help you learn about the Bible, and prayer, and all kinds of things that will help you grow spiritually.
You should contact a local church (or someone you know who is a Christian) if you haven't done so, and tell them you've just given your life to Christ. They should help you get connected with other Christians, so you can learn and grow.
God bless you

Good, good good question. Find a good bible teaching church, one that really teaches the bible and makes the word come alive, and get into a bible study. Maybe join a prayer group. I can assure you, the more of the word you take in you, the more you are in prayer, the more you think about God and the things of God, your faith will grow stronger and your life will bloom like a beautiful flower.
Especially in these dangerous times....be wise. Jesus said, if you abide in me, I will abide in you. Stay very close to Him in word and prayer. May God bless you and keep you on the path to Him.

Read the Bible, attend a Bible study, attend church regularly, pray daily ask Jesus for guidance, understanding, keep your heart open to His word. Associate with other Christians, don't be afraid to ask about things you don't understand when reading the Bible.

Surround yourself with christians. It's important to foster your faith and be in an environment where the world (which has become amazingly hostile to a belief in God) doesn't bombard you every second with its own insecurities.
