but whats the definition of a child? is a sexually mature teenager(maybe 13 year old) still a child? where is the real line?

I think the 13 year old of today is much different than in times past. No way I feel that 15 years old girls, or boys, can claim the adult "molested" them , if they gave full consent. They know that they can claim innocence and get someone in trouble.
A lot of young teens act and dress promiscuously and try to look like adults and attract older people. Thats not pedophilia. I think a pedophile is someone who likes little kids like up to 8 or 9. They like the innocence. And they probably would NOT be attracted to a 14 year old skanky seductress. Technically they are children, but not in the way we think of children. Child = innocent and pure. Teenagers like that are hard to find.

A child is defined by age - anyone under 17 years old. Nothing sexually mature about a 13 year old.

Pedophilia is more about control, authority, and manipulation than sexuality.
The preditors will find a victim and "Groom" them. Grooming making friends with them with the intent of getting them to do their will ... First, the preditor stay's within societies comfort zone ... then the preditor will entice the kid through a small act of disobediance (pornography) ... then they'll keep enticing them slowly over time (porno ... alcohal ... tabbaco). Then when the kid want's to stop, the preditor will use the kids past disobedience to keep the momentum going. Once the preditor has stuff to use against the other, they will control them and ruin their self-worth. Most pedophil's are heteral sexual ... and don't distinguish the difference between boys and girls. Along with child molestation ... the thrill is the "Control" they get over their sexual desires.
Michale Jackson was profiled as a "Groomer" in court with his "Never Land" ranch (desire), pornography (shown to kids), and alcohal (served to kids). Hypathetically, had these events all occured, you can see why a child would have a hard time getting out of the "Trouble" their in to escape molestation.

When a person turns 18 they are then concidered an adult. Any age under that is still concidered a child and yes a 13 year old is very much a child..... at that age no child should be having sex at all.
There are way to many babies having babies in this day and age....little girls want to grow up to fast and dress sexy and act sexy....someone needs to let them know its ok to be a kid and they dont need to grow up so fast....to enjoy being a kid as long as they can and not to feel pressured into doing things they dont want to because they feel it will get them accepted by peers.

the age of a child is under 18 18 and over is an adult it does not matter how mature a child acts or how mature a child looks a child is a child untill there 18th birthday

At thirteen your body isn't sexually mature, anyone under eighteen is a child.
If you are more than three years older than the child you are attracted to, then you are a pervert.

16 is age of consent in most states. But if you are talking pornography 18 would be the legal age of consent, and anything below would be very illegal and very disgusting.
After watching Dateline week in and week out it seems the preferred age to these pervs is 13 &14 year olds though.
