I stand on the world and look out & about-4 the slightest clue that will rid me my doubt-oh how as a man I wish so much to be loved-and yet I feel nothing from any entity above-Tis not that I haven't lived tried and true-obeying the laws commanded of me & of you-but more often than not I feel insecure-because this Love from God isn't overwhelmingly clear-I have prayed hungered and thirsted for recognition-my progress driven by my own inner ambition-to want for something that seems I will never hold-and only in death will I discover if TRUTH were really told! I am a teenager who was once a good Christian as a boy. But as I get older, I'm having a harder time believing in all the doctrine. It seems the more I learn about science, the less likely it seems that God exists. But from all the time I've spent in Church, I find it hard to think that God isn't real. I need advice on what to do.

I wondered if there was any problems wherever you may live. I imagine that precautions are taken against aids, hepatitus of any variety, or any infectious diseases. Were questions asked about sexual preference and did any problems result ?
On another track, how realistic are ER, House and Greys Anatomy ?

As an atheist many times I am frustrated and annoyned by "christians" questions and answers. Most of the time it is not that they believe, but that they do not walk their talk that bothers me. But to be the honest intellectuals we so often claim to be, we must stop lumping them all in together, as we hate this disrespect towards us as well. I have been moved by their compassion and kindness to me. A true christian is a thing of beauty. I do not believe like them, but our humanity supercedes our differences. I would like to say sorry ahead of time to all those of you who have answered my previous question about the passage in the bible that tells us not to judge others. I was not quite honest in where my question was leading...

Now, for the question.

There are a few instances where the bible explicitly tells you not to judge other people.

If you are strong in your religion, and follow the bible, how can you judge gays? How can you answer the question of whether or not gays should be allowed to be married or not if you claim to follow the bible so much?

Your bible might also say that homosexuality is bad (Just goes to show there was hate back then too) so, if I understand the situation, you are saying that it's ok to pick and choose what you follow from the bible?

One says don't judge others, the other says do... odd

Whenever I go to the swimming pool or after a work out, I go to the change room to take a shower. I try not to look at the other guys, but no matter what I do I end up getting a hard on. Sometimes I will be able to take a shower without getting hard but by the time I make it to my locker I am. Is there something wrong with me? I never see other guys get hard. I am 21 and gay (of course) I get hard pretty easy and randomly. I know that this happens to young men, but it's been happening to me for 8 years!
