Damn you for asking such a thing!!!!!

Have you ever answered a question in a way that was meant as a joke but it was misunderstood so bad that 4 people gave you a thumbs down?

I think there's a syncro thing-a-ma-jig out there.
Usually the first answerer will dictate the undertone for all the other answerer's. I too have found that sometimes I answer too quick and get influenced by the first responder ... USUALLY, I go back and try to read the question in it's context.
With the "Thumbs" Up/ Down feature, at least I can shrink the bad answers.

The best part is when the hate answers aren't even directed at your question. I guess some people feel like they can read a line of a multi-paragraph question and know where it's going.

All the time. Then the hate mail arrives. You just have to take it with a grain of salt.

I feel that even if you expressed yourself correctly, you would have haters out there. Don't pay them any mind, Enjoy your freedom to express yourself anyways. Good luck
