I'm from a third world country, and here we have a saying used when someone is very intelligent and bright; we use to say "he (she) should work in NASA". What would you understand from such a saying? What equivalent do you use? This idiom is positive, it doesn't have any negative connotation like 'Mr. Know-it-all' or anything like that.

I moved into my apartment about 5 months ago and there have been a few things I cant explain. The first thing, is I keep getting awakened by the sound of a single loud human clap near my bed. This has happened on atleast 8 different nights and usually only once per night. The first couple of times I just blew it off thinking I was hearing things that werent there. But when I was awoken by the clap sound 2 times in 1 night I became curious. Last night was the scariest, because the clap sound was very close to my head, and very real. It woke me up at 2 30am and I searched for anyhting that could have caused the sound but there is nothing I can think of. Another time I woke up in the morning, and found the drain plug from my sink sitting in the bathtub, and I have never messed with it before. There was also a throw rug messed up and laid over my shoes near the door, my doors were all still locked. I still have several months left on my lease but, maybe its worth it to get out?

Believe me, atheists, God is doing you a great favour. In Deuteronomy the Israelites were frightened so God sent Jesus who radiated love, mercy and healing and did not frighten people (Deutoronomy 18).
Deut 5:20 And as soon as you heard the voice out of the midst of the darkness, while the mountain was burning with fire, you came near to me, all the heads of your tribes, and your elders. Now therefore why should we die? For this great fire will consume us. If we hear the voice of the Lord our God any more, we shall die.

You want God to do everything for you even when you lack interest in Him. Would you really be able to handle it if He appeared 2 feet from you when you can't even look at the sun millions of miles away?
