And Hindus, and related religions. Or can anyone use them, I heard them being referred to as purely meditation beads to cout one's mantra whatever it is. So basically a mala is just a string of beads for anyone to use during meditation independent of religion right?

I'm not asking because I don't know. I do know. I'm wondering what answers other people come up with. I'm asking in the R&S section so that I can get responses from the religious types as well as the secular.

I have been invited to join this cult with 70 members. It includes singles, couples, and some families. They live in a 5 million dollar mansion by a beautiful lake. All the food, shelter, and sex you can have is completely free anytime, anywhere, and with anyone in the cult. You can leave anytime, but you have to obey the cult leader while you are in. You can keep your existing money, but all of your current income goes to the cult. You can work outside, or stay in and the leader will find you things to do. Would you join it? Ask me, if interested.

Do the souls of atheists simply disappear into the ether? Do crusaders and jihadists (flip sides of the same coin) find an afterlife without jihadists and crusaders, thereby allowing each to assume that the other is in a form of Hell and vindicating either side?

Has this been going on for years, and I am just noticing, or has it seemed like over the last few years, you see lots of reports on women stealing fetuses out of other women's bodies? I can't think of anything more horrible. What is going on??!

I have prayed to God and have felt his presence in my life. I have felt his sweet forgiveness and I have felt a confirmation that the Bible is the Word of God. But how can I know this is not all in my head?

Before I go on I want to clarify something here: Jesus is a big part of my life and I feel like I have a personal relationship with Him. I'm not one of those people who is looking for an excuse to leave my religion.

But this question has really got me curious. Mostly, I'm just interested in having this question answered so that I can move on and continue on in God's work.

I would appreciate it if only people who believed in God (or at least in a supreme being or supreme force) would answer this question. I am not interested in having people take advantage of my question and try to "convert" me to atheism or any other form of belief that won't accept the possibility of a Supreme Being.

Christianity has existed for almost 2000 years. Generation after generation of its followers have predicted Christ's imminent return, the final battle with Satan, the end of the evil reign being "just around the corner." Of course, the false prophets die, and then the next generation carries on this claim, which has ostensibly been going on for hundreds and hundreds of years now.

Don't any of you stop and think to yourselves, "gee, hundreds of generations of people have died firmly convinced that Christ would appear. They were just as certain of this as I am, yet they were wrong. They died, and the centuries passed, and Christ never appeared to reward their faith."

What makes you think for one second what happened to them isn't going to happen to you? The odds are totally against you. To back my argument, I've got millions of dead Christians in the ground for centuries whose faith meant NOTHING. All you have is the same faith, which history has proven counts for nothing.

SONG OF SOLOMON 1:5
"I am black, but comely, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, as the tents of Kedar, as the curtains of Solomon."

Solomon, a Jew from the tribe of Judah, is describing himself as black! Furthermore, here is the verse in the original ancient Hebrew:

Ever heard of these fellas? I recently found out about them. They're these supposedly human-like aliens that have been seen hovering over Mexico. Some people have caught them on tape and this police officer there said that one of those "things" attacked him. Creepy. What do you think, real or not real?

I am one of 9 kids, my mom didn't believe in it. She considered it the same as an abortion. I believe it is wrong but I use it anyway. (Don't a lot of us do things we don't think are right?) If there is anyone else out there who doesn't believe in it, what are your reasons?
