I don't believe in artificial birth control. It leads to sex being very much about getting pleasure without thought or consequence. Couples who use natural family planning to space the births of their children actually learn to understand and appreciate the way that their bodies work. They also have improved communication since they are really talking about what their needs are. Natural family planning is also something that requires sacrifice. If the couple wants to postpone pregnancy, then they will be abstaining from relations during fertile times. This sacrifice is actually a good thing and is something that distinguishes love from lust. Love is other-centered, and that mutual giving makes for much better sexual intimacy than the self-centered motivations of lust.
Artificial birth control has other drawbacks too. There are many health risks for women on the pill, and many women don't realize that the pill and IUD's are both abortifacients.
Really, it is best to respect God and enjoy marital intimacy the way that he designed it.

I think the only people who believe that using birth control is a sin are Catholics. What's really a sin is that so many people aren't using birth control, and instead are having babies that they can't afford. Those children are then on the receiving end of a percentage of our taxes. Worse yet, what kind of life is it for a child to be born of parents who don't want it?

when i was younger,i didnt think about it. and i financed a couple of em . at the time i knew i couldnt support a family . and i was just starting to come into my own.
i think back on it now and then and i now know i was wrong.i have two kids now. one ive only seen once in a picture. up in the north west somewhere.and a son which i only see once in a while he's in colorado w his moms folks i'm in az .he's doing very well. even advanced in school.i admire his little man self from afar.when he was just born;i found out his ma still had some runnin around to do.so i changed a few diapers and sparked him up.i wouldnt change that time for nothing.his mom kept getting tossed in jail.i took care of the kids (she also had two girls from a previous marriage)i love kids and would die for any one of em.they gave me so much.the third time she went to jail .she b**** called her folks to get them . now theyre in colorado.it tore me up at first . but time sorta healed. theyre doing better than if they were with me. i think. so...
dont do it.
things always come together. never worry until its time to worry.

I guess the best way to look at it is birth control is better than an unwanted child.
There are still to many of them out there and the numbers of those unwanted should be reduced.
