I've had many things go wrong in my life.

But i have never doubted God.

What does God have to do with my own free will?

LIsten, everyone has choices. From these choices, our paths in life are defined. If one good thing i did led to three bad things, do i blame God? Do i doubt his existence?

The simple answer for me has always been no.

I am responsible for the life i lead, the choices i make, the words i speak, the books i read, the knowledge i gain, ect...
I am also responsible for my ignorance, my arrogance, my stupidity, ect...

I guess it's how you believe in God...

IJust because one suffers does not mean that there is no God. Sometimes when everything is going good in your life, you'll hear about an insane attack in Palestine or Israel. So why don't you doubt God's existence on behalf of all those that suffer?

I know this is corny... but without suffering, there would be no compassion. Without pain, there would be no appreciation.

To base the existence of God on how your life is at the moment is an almost mute argument. Sometimes things are good, sometimes things are bad. It's just... life.

Of course one can argue, "i didn't do anything, i was a good person and i got cancer or shot up or whatever it is that happened so how can God exist?" The only explanation i can really think of that satisfies me to a certain extent is that the suffering you feel as a result of no wrongdoing on your part saves you from a greater evil. For instance, somebody gets shot by a runaway car for no reason. Perhaps while you're in the hospital, some kid is crossing the street and if you had been fine you would have hit him or wrecked his life in some way. Perhaps pain is a saviour of sorts. Maybe pain on earth will mean no pain later on in the afterlife.I don't know. I find this a tad confusing but... in the end, i don't doubt God. I doubt my ability to understand my experiences enough to learn from them.

"For we would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia, that we were (pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired even of life;)" 1 Cor.1:8 . Is this what your talking about ? This was Paul speaking here. You can read what he is talking about in Acts 14:19-20.You can read how he overcame this by reading verses 9-10 of 1 Cor.1. I know allot of Christians will say "well I'm not the Apostle Paul" but anytime we face what your describing it's usually because the devil doesn't like what were doing. Please remain faithful. Our Lord has a crown for you, 2 Tim.4:8.I would also encourage all the faithful to be in prayer for this servant of our Lord , may God richly bless you and keep you.You will be put on our prayer list at church.

No & I have had alot of stuff go wrong in my life. At times I wondered if the Lord forgot me but knew in my heart He never has. When we pray, God always answers prayer. Sometimes it's not when or what we want to hear. But HE always exists

I've been through times that made me doubt if God cares. But God's existence is something I cannot deny.

Actually I didn't need things going wrong in my life to doubt if God existed; I did it all myself! No, I know it's hard to face, but there are no Gods, ghosts, or afterlives.
Just live life as a good person without the religion thing and you'll be much happier.

YESSSSSS.....and i actually did.....but then again....you know that he is putting you through all this for a reason....all that pain is for a reason....i like to live by the qoute "if God brings you to it, he'll bring you through it" i started to believe God would help me and things started changing....not all of a sudden but sloooowwwly........bad things are part of everyone's life....but just keep in mind that God brought those worries into your life for a reason...it could be for any reason...maybe he wants you to grow up, to learn from this experience, to discover something about yourself, to test your faith, anything.......God wants you to succeed this pain.....and if you give up, on God and yourslef, you will just be another victory of the Devil, Climbing up the hill to goodness is sooooo much harder than rolling down the hill to Hell......but at the end who do you want to see winning? God or the Devil? show those around you and the Devil that you CAN overcome your worries and Get on with the life God planned for you

yes..I have...but I try to remind myself in those times of all the times that I know that God has stepped in and made a way for me where their was no way and that helps me to hang on through the trial or testing Im enduring at that moment.....I also keep a journal of every time God has answered a prayer for me or spoke into my life whether it be through a prophet or His word or however and then when I have a time of deadness and it feels like God is not there I look through it and it helps me to hang on.....hang in there God cares and is working things out to the best for you....God Bless

Nope. Nor have I had so many things go right that I began to suspect that a god exists. There is no evidence that any god exists, and occurences in my life one way or the other require no divine explanation.

No never. When things went wrong in my life it was my own bad choices and I wasn't in touch with God.

Please read my words carefully:
If you see footmark in the sand, you'll say that someone passed from here...
If you see a piece of dog sh*t on the ground, you'll say that a dog passed from here...
So what about the enormous universe, the sky, stars, planets, earth and all the beauty in it, doesn't it lead to that someone made it?!!!

Some people say that everything is created by itself after the big-bang... I won't ask you about what caused the big-bang, but I'll ask you a simple question:
If you take all the letters of the alphabet, multiples of them, and you threw them randomly on the floor. Do you expect (by a chance of one in infinity) to get a poem like shakespear's??!!

Can't you see how organized our universe is, the planets, the eco-system on earth, look even in your own body... Can you control your heart-beat? Can you control your breath while you're sleeping? Who stopped your eye-lashes from growing after reaching a certain length? Who told the baby turtles to move towards the sea and not to the earth after they come out of their eggs? Who taught the bird how to make nests?

My friend, think with your heart and brain. If you're still lost, think about the following:

Do you know how to play safe?
Your point:
If there's no God and you do all what you want in life, then nothing will happen to you after life. But if there was God and you were mistaken, then you'll blame yourself FOREVER...

Believer's point:
If there's God and I followed His commands in life, then I'll be in Heaven after life FOREVER. But if there was no God and we're mistaken, then nothing bad will happen to us after life...

Now you know how to play-safe, in case you're not convinced?
