I have just watched "Monsoon Wedding" and would llike to learn more about cultural differences in India. I have not found a good website comparing them and am interested in the differences before travelling to West Bengal.

Isn't the problem between the Christian and Islamic world down to the fact that a christian country, like England, allows 'foreigners' the freedom to eg. follow their own religion,bring their own way of life and live it here in general society. Whereas all Islamic states prohibit this basic concession. Surely the need to create specialist areas for foreigners living in Islamic countries is a worrying sign that Islam IS an exclusive religion and not conducive to fully accomodating the diversity of the modern world. Isn't it a worrying sign for any religion that anyone with different beliefs or lifestyle is excluded from the general population?
Perhaps more worrying is that the crusades are viewed as history for anyone from a christian country whereas it still seems to be 'current affairs' for the Islamic world........ ?

to the ground, it would seem that those floors would remain intact. Can anyone explain how this happened, there seems to be no logical explanation as to why the top floors would crush each other since there was no weight crasing into them.

I think Julia is really cute. She is outspoken and she appears to be rebellious regarding christanity and I suspect that is for a reason. I don't think however, she deserves all the stick she gets from the Christians. Should not Christians be more understanding and tolerent?

mine was at the ER when I was waiting to be seen for migraines that had lasted for 3 weeks or so. I was in the waiting room and I had to keep getting up to run to the bathroom to vomit up grape juice, everytime I would come back out people would shrink away from me, because I was covered in a sheen of cold sweat and shaky, so eventually i decided to just stay in the bathroom, I was vomiting every minute or so, and I decided in a state of insanity to lay on the floor in the ER bathroom right next to the toilet so I could rest my cheek against cold tiles in between bouts of vomiting and peeing my pants. So there I was with my cheeks on the floor of the bathroom and my arms around the toilet with my legs sticking out from underneath the stall door. Yes I pee my pants when I vomit forcefully.

Thats the worst vomit experience i have ever had, what about you?

I you have a kid ar are the kid, teenager, or adult that is gay and in school what would you do? Would you want to put you boy/girl in a school of all gays or woooould you allow them to be herassed? Or wooul you put them in a school that accepts gay? I am a gay teenager and woould rather be in a school of all gay but i want to see it from a different point of view? Thank you

Its not a matter of belief but of weighing evidence.
The earth has to be really old because there is no evidence that dinosaurs could have lived along
side man 10000yrs ago.
Here is some evidence that dinosaurs lived along time ago.
There remains are all fossilized.
Radiocarbon dating indicates that they are a lot older then 10000yrs.
There is no dinosaur bone or flesh material to be found anywhere
but there is plenty of bone material of people and contemporary animal from 10000yrs ago.

If dinosaurs did live with men just 10000yrs ago,
you would find
Mummified dinosaurs flesh that would date less then 10000yrs old.
Dinosaurs bones and flesh with viable DNA in them "not fossilized dinosaurs bones".
Because we do find DNA in the remains of people and contemporary animal from 10000yrs ago.

Men and dinosaurs would have interacted with each other.
Men would have hunted them down for there flesh, skin and bones.
Flesh to eat ,leather skin for cloths and bones for tools,weapons and jewelry.

The bible offers no proof of the exsitance of dinosaurs at all.
The only other option is that dinosaurs lived and died
before man ever walked the face of earth.
Supporting the idea that the world is realy old not 10000yrs old.
the bible does speak of joanah and the whale ,but that was fish not a dinosaur

Nor can there be any great biblicly flood because
you would find evidence that there was a mass exstinction of life
and that you would be able to find one single layer of sediment that has
the remains of all this life ordered by size and wieght.
But you dont find is this,
that there has been many mass exstinctions and as you dig deeper in the ground
the remains are order by species in a decending order in many diferrant layers of rock over a time period of a billion yrs.
one single flood would not deposit the remains of dead animals ordered by species in decending order
so one must conclude that there was no single flood

I want to write a book on race relations. If you are African American, how do you perceive whites and other races. If you are white, how do you perceive African Americans and other races. If you are from another ethnic groups, how do African Americans/whites view your racial group.
Do you believe in the stereotypes? Do you look beyond the skin color and see that people are people no matter what the race? Are you in favor of interracial dating between African -American man and Caucasian woman. If you disagree with interracial dating between the two races and yet you agree that it is acceptable for a Caucasian man/woman to marry any other race but not African American man/woman, then please give me you view point.
Please be honest with me. I will not take any offensive of what you might thing and/or say. I am on a quest to bring people together of different races.

This is a naive and childish question. If you could, even for an instant, imagine what it's like to be, to have been, or to know that your family has been historically discriminated against, you'd realize how unfounded your question is. There has never been racial equality between blacks and whites, and, arguably, there never will be. But whites have always been on the oppressor side, and blacks on the oppressed-- so for you to get offended about inequality is ridiculous and absurd.I don't give a $hit if you've never been racist, just like blacks don't give a $hit about whether or not I am-- what matters is the $hit happened and continues to happen, and blacks aren't sticking it to whites by having black colleges.
Seriously, how dare you try to play the equality card. Whites have always enjoyed things blacks can't, and since they have black colleges and say ni&&a, you get all high and mighty about equality?
