the claims that the bible makes just dont agree with the observable evidence

Its not a matter of belief but of weighing evidence.
The earth has to be really old because there is no evidence that dinosaurs could have lived along
side man 10000yrs ago.
Here is some evidence that dinosaurs lived along time ago.
There remains are all fossilized.
Radiocarbon dating indicates that they are a lot older then 10000yrs.
There is no dinosaur bone or flesh material to be found anywhere
but there is plenty of bone material of people and contemporary animal from 10000yrs ago.

If dinosaurs did live with men just 10000yrs ago,
you would find
Mummified dinosaurs flesh that would date less then 10000yrs old.
Dinosaurs bones and flesh with viable DNA in them "not fossilized dinosaurs bones".
Because we do find DNA in the remains of people and contemporary animal from 10000yrs ago.

Men and dinosaurs would have interacted with each other.
Men would have hunted them down for there flesh, skin and bones.
Flesh to eat ,leather skin for cloths and bones for tools, weapons and jewelry.

The bible offers no proof of the exsitance of dinosaurs at all.
The only other option is that dinosaurs lived and died
before man ever walked the face of earth.
Supporting the idea that the world is realy old not 10000yrs old.
the bible does speak of joanah and the whale ,but that was fish not a dinosaur

Nor can there be any great biblicly flood because
you would find evidence that there was a mass exstinction of life
and that you would be able to find one single layer of sediment that has
the remains of all this life ordered by size and wieght.
But you dont find is this,
that there has been many mass exstinctions and as you dig deeper in the ground
the remains are order by species in a decending order in many diferrant layers of rock over a time period of a billion yrs.
one single flood would not deposit the remains of dead animals ordered by species in decending order
so one must conclude that there was no single flood

sry but you christains havent disproven what i have said and in light of the exsitance of dinosaurs you have to explane why there is no dinosaur evidence
that man has altered for example not being able to produce any kind of leather good made out of dinosaur skin or some jewlery
made out of dinosaur teeth or tools made out of dinosaur bones

sence you can't provide such evidence
when there should be some
this lack of evidence proves that the creation story is just that a story and it dosn't agree with the obserable evidence

sry Pearly Gator the Tyranosaurus Rex tissue wont do because im asking for dinosaur materail that has been altered by man and you can't produce any
also
"the fabulous Coelacanth ("see-la-kanth"), that 400 million year old "living fossil" fish"

no creeklops
yr quote>"I think you need to try again.
By the way, if you don't believe in God or the Bible, why try so hard to disprove?
Is it cause down deep you are trying to prove to yourself? Because you really do believe."
I'm doing this because its wrong for christians to lie and call it science
just because you desire to believe in something really bad doesn't mean u get to
spread lies about the reality we live in
so be fore you criticize me produce a piece of dinosaur material that has been altered man
ie."some leather goods made from dinosaur skin "

Christians clap their hands over their eyes and ears and sing "I CAN'T HEAR YOU!" over and over again...

Sadly, faith keeps trying to trump evidence. Occassionally it wins, until good sense is bought to bear.

We Christians do think.

1. Various aspects of science change ever so often. The evidence shows that it cannot be trusted in many cases.

2. Scientists believe that the earth is young; other scientists believe that the earth is very old. Both sides have valid evidence!

3. Science can extend our senses only so far. What happens beyond that?

4. We don't have all the answers. Why do some "scientists" project the image that THEY have all the answers?

When I was in college, I read (as part of a chemistry class), a 1,000+ page scientific book on carbon dating. Its conclusion: there are major problems with this method of dating.

To take the bible literally is like saying my computer is powered by the holy ghost...

The Computer is a complex machine made after years of study of many sciences. The same methodology was used to establish beyond any reasonable doubt that evolution took place.

To believe the Bible literally you must stop believing in washing machines, cars, pharmasueticals etc..

This does not in anyway dilute the value of the messages God could be trying to convey through the stories in the bible

Actually human tracks were found in an ancient river bed with both human and dinosaur tracks. Evidence of the flood has been around for ages and you havent seen it yet?

In any event, neither of these are contradictory even if your assumptions were true.

A. The existence of dinosaurs in no way contradicts anything written in the Bible. The "young earth" creation theory you atheists think we all believe in is actually only shared among few.

B. Even if we had not found evidence of the flood yet, that doesnt mean it never happened, would only mean we havent found the evidence yet.

Did an asteroid or ?? finish off the dinosarus and through that the evidence you are looking for wont exist in the way they were killed? eventually all turns to ashes if it is the right enviroment so you wouldnt find evidence if that is the case. You do ask a good question and one I ponder to this day. On the other hand, the Bible is not finished either and they claim there are parts of it not found. So will we ever know? Why cannot scientist answer this? Was God so powerful to hide all this or to take away all the evidence? With God all things are possible. right? And with God who is not worldly, we are all mortal in worldly thinking as humans. God is not human---

One could also conclude that you are very wrong.

There is a book by Norm Sharbough (spelling could be off on last name) In it he has a picture of a whale fossilized vertically in its "tomb" By Carbon dating, this poor whales tail is billions of years older than his head.

There are many more "proofs" in this book from evidence on display at different museums and college buildings.

The book is called Ammunition and if you could get ahold of a copy of it, you should. Then compare it to what you have been spoon fed and decide for yourself.

There is also secular proof out there that dinosaurs still exist in the very tropical parts of Africa and the local tribes have their own names for them, although they are much smaller than the remains that we have, the body structure and anatomy remain strikingly the same. There isnt a whole lot of media attention paid to this awesome knowledge either.

When it comes to the creation of the universe, there is one thing to remember; God says He created the world in 6 "yoms". Granted, the Hebrew word "yom" is usually translated as "day" as in what we consider a 24-hour span of time. However, there isa second definition, and that is "a period of time". Sort of like saying an "age" as in the Age of Discovery. Not all Christians hold to the New Earth position.

I always find it curious that evolutionists are more than happy to trot out science when it suits them, but plug their ears when scientific objections are raised concerning the Darwinian model.

I think this:
where in the Bible does it say that the Earth is 6000 years old? I believe that it is over 4 to 5 Billion years old.
Where in the Bible does it say that GOD Flooded the Earth only one time?
I believe that it could of happened alot, and thats why GOD got tired of Flooding it (Rainbow).
I believe GOD Created the Earth and so on in 6 days cause its in the Bible. The Bible also says that to GOD, a day is as a Thousand years, and a thousand years as a day.
I am a Believer in Jesus Christ and HE is GOD ALMIGHTY Too.

I believe that much of the Bible is symbolic, not literal. Those that wrote the Bible would have had little knowledge of times preceding their own, especially of dinosaurs, since the first recorded discovery of dinosaur bones was in the 1800s.
