Live a life that requires no redemption

2006-09-22 12:51:01 · answer #1 · answered by Blackacre 7 · 1 0

To seek redemption for whatever mistake you have made in your life requires a sincere heart that is willing to say I am truly sorry for what I have done, and I repent. It's not the same thing to say I'm sorry than to really mean it from the bottom of your heart and be willing to change.

If at some time in a persons life they accept Jesus the Christ (Saviour) as their own personal Saviour.
Realize that HE, Jesus, died for his or her own personal and individual sins.
Is truly sorry (repents) for all the sins he or she has committed and for the evil thoughts and deeds done.
Asks Jesus to "come in to his or her heart" and "wash it clean" of sins.
Accepts Jesus as THE ONLY SAVIOUR and accepts that Jesus is TRULY GOD.
That person is SAVED from Hellfire FOR EVER! This person is now "converted".

The process of becoming saved is called JUSTIFICATION.
The penalty for sins committed are removed. Romans 4: 7f. 2Corinthians 5:19.
The condemnation is gone. Romans 8: 1, 33f.
There is peace with GOD. Romans 5: 1. Ephesians 2: 14-17.
One is restored to GODS favour. Romans 4: 6 1Corinthians 1: 30. 2Corinthians 5: 21.
The believer is now clothed in a righteousness not his own, provided by Jesus, and is therefore acceptable to fellowship with GOD.

"All" that I do isn't wrong. When it is, I make amends to people I hurt with my actions and then I try to return to a life of integrity.
