My family is thinking about moving to the Chattanooga, TN area. I've heard that this area is in the "Bible belt." My family belongs to a religion other than Christianity. How will my family be treated by the people in the area? Will they be accepting of our differing beliefs? If anyone of non-Christian beliefs has personal experience with this topic, please share your experiences with me.

That is pretty much their religion. What is wrong so wrong about Christianity? If people say God creating the earth is just a theory then why don't we teach it at school? Evolution is a theory and we have to learn about that.

Do you believe that non-Muslims either know that Islam is the truth and reject it out of pure obstinacy, or else are simply ignorant of it and can be converted by elementary explanations?

Is this why your answers to many questions are simplistic in ideology, and ignorant in the use of English?
Is this why you THINK that a simple reading of the Qu'ran will convert all the heathens to your side?
Do you really think people are that simple?

My uncle is a devout Catholic. My husband and I were both raised Catholic, but left that religion when we were both young adults. (We're in our 30s now.) We have a very strong belief and ethics system of our own, and some serious disagreements with certain tenets of the Catholic faith.
My uncle was informed of that decision many years ago, but persists in lecturing us every time we visit. Not only does he lecture us about religion, but about all sorts of other things, too.

Visiting him is no longer enjoyable. He shows little interest in learning what is important to us or our goals. He never comes to visit when invited for holidays and seems to always expect us to come to him. He shows l
With that being said, he is a kind, generous man who can be fun at times. Our kids love him, and they miss him. He stopped returning our calls or e-mails at the beginning of this year, so I suspect we have somehow offended him, but really don't know what to say or do at this point.

The first amendment says: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances."

Is freedom of speech the ground in which freedom of religion is planted? What types of freedom of religion are possible under regimes that repress speech?

Ape culture, as depicted in the movie, how different is that from any Islamic country today? Visually...philisophically?

"Every place relevant to Christians will be a target," said a statement from the group. "This will be until the accursed infidel, the Vatican, apologizes to Muslims."
