who believes that the 2nd return of jesus christ is near and why?

Look at a painting by Picasso and tell me what you see? I'm quite certain that you will see something different than the person standing beside you. Now. Look at a bible scripture and tell me what it means. Same thing. You can look at it from many different angles and come up with multiple interpretations. And why am I mentioning this?

Early Christians who were thrown to the lions at the Roman Colosseum all went willingly to their deaths because they believed, based on scripture and what they were told by fellow believers, that the second coming was just around the corner. Could happen in a day or two.

Many, many years have past and Jesus is still a no-show. To continue to interpret the bible in a way that confirms his coming is total folly. Truly a fool's game.

I do, because in Matthew 24:6 says

6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you aren't troubled, for all this must happen, but the end is not yet.

7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be famines, plagues, and earthquakes in various places.

This is only the beginning it then goes on and talks about the persecutions to christians, So the end is near.

-people'd race in making high skyscrapers (coming true)
-night time equaling day time
-uneducatedness will increase

-adultery will be performed openly
there r many signs said both in bible and qoran.
