a lot of non christians are starting to fight back against christianity and its sects all over the place and i am starting to wonder if we should have it outlawed.

besides its time is up and there god doesnt talk to them anyways never has to begin with. jesus isnt coming back anyways and most of the bible is full of lies and hatred so i say should we take there bibles and burn them and pass a law where they cant preach it anymore?

i understand that if Jesus is gone, then no extra letter should be added to the Bible, the Bible has to be closed from anything adding to it.

but what i noticed that there are people who still keep writing inside the Bible even though Jesus was gone. especially John Paul who came years later, who gave him the right to add his words in the Bible? so what makes it different if someone decides to add a extra chapter in the Bible Today?

So this guy Jesus, he was God right? And he was alive about 33 years right? And the Bible is a book with stuff he said right? Is it possible the Bible doesn't contain everything he said?

What if we are missing some things Jesus said? What if Jesus said we can't wear jeans on Friday?

Spirituality is for everyone not just them, why do they have to be so selfish and arrogant when it comes to non christians? Does thier religion teach them manners, or just do what thou wilt is thier rule of thumb?

I was thinking about either being a hot girl Indiana Jones type character or a hot girl Ghostbuster. I already have most of the Indiana Jones costume, but those fedoras are damn expensive. A Ghostbusters costume is easy to get and pretty cheap, but would be harder to make 'hot'. What do you think?

I've always heard it was but last night I got into a fight with the guy that had a pen and I had a sword. I chopped his head off with one fast slash of my sword. So, I am really confused now.

From listening to a European history podcast, I have concluded that it might be safe to compare the selling of indulgences back in the 15th and 16th centuries to modern televangelists asking for money.

The Catholic church sold indulgences under the guise that people can buy salvation for themselves and their deceased loved ones (a verse in the book of Acts actually PROHIBITS this).

Televangelists separate fools from their money under the guise that they (those being parted from their money) are going to have a "better" relationship with God.

Anyone agree with me or disagree or care to add more commentary?

For the record, I am a Christian.

Since most countries in the west have abolished compulsory military training, would it be good for discipline and all that to introduce some compulsory social service?

I can imagine a scheme where beautiful women 18-21 years old would serve half a year naked in a special brothel tied to a bed where dudes who were tested HIV negative could have unlimited sex with them.

I ran into this expression in Germany and no-one would tell me what it meant. They all seemed to think I was making some kind of joke when I asked and avoided answering. The closest thing I got to an answer was 'You tell me, you speak English' which didn't help, at all.

NB: In German there are no silent letters. The K is pronounced so it sounds like Kinoff Hoff
