I was born in San Francisco. Except the conflict with Israel, I NEVER gave muslims a second thought. They made the news as raving lunatics until 9/11.
Then they came to the forefront.
No American needs to read the koran. The middle eastern muslim (and others) demonstrates the words of 'piece' and daily discovery of dead muslims acts of love.
I continue to be confounded as to why any one would remain muslim. It is in conflict with freedom.

The ignorance comes from the inability of Westerners to grasp the fact that Islam has as much validity as any other religion. That the religion of these terrorists are circumstantial, and that the social climate they were raised in is to blame rather than their religion.
You're bull-headed about being converted by a Muslim, but fail to add that Christians are just as evangelical, and use the same logic you have stated to convert non-Christians.

Not sure if you're aware of this, but there is a significant population of Muslims in the western world. Also, most non-Muslims in the western world had no general contempt for the religion be September 11th.. and even so, still we know not all Muslim are violent fascist terrorist... we just don't want to be Muslim... if we're wrong, God...uh, I mean Allah will figure it out don't you think???

I will try to keep it simple....
As Muslims our job is to let you know about the teaching of Islam, weather you accept it or not , this between you and Allah ! Our job finishes right there. This is what we were told about preaching unlike what Pope Benedict's try to propagate by using prejudice historical reference as if they were word of God. Unlike Church and pope , we do not have financial obligation system towards muslim followers. Therefore, weather someone accepts Islam or not, it's not our problem. It is between him and Allah, as far as he knows what Islam is about.!! By the way what do you think about my English compares to yours.
