Do they spend this much time on other things they do not believe in? ;-)
Because they DO keep trying to justify their denial of God, The Holy Spirit is working on them. I don't mind the civil ones. It's the profane that I ignore & report.

Hi Pearl101
True non believers, do not waste their time asking dumb questions.. True non believers care less about God, Satan, ect.... Immature, ignorant minds which are caught on the fence are searching for answers... They do for the most part seem to come through the back door with question that at first appear truely stupid. However there are no stupid questions, only stupid people. .... Some, not all are seeking help.. They are afraid to ask friends, because of ridicule. So you and I should help them. We cannot save them. We can preach the Gospel to them. Perhaps one will understand.... Becareful.
Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you. Matthew 7:6
Remember: Chocolate is brown, Poop stinks and ole satan clause is still out there. Satan can quote each scripture and turn it against you. Sometimes we should just walk away......Or say "satan get behind me".
Have a good day Pearl. Don't engage in arguments with satans little helpers.

Why are "believers" so preoccupied with "non-believers"? There are a ton of questions on this site from "believers". If they believe, then why are they so concerned with others lack of belief in god, the bible and the "non-beliefs" of "non-belivers"?
Turn about is fair play......

Non-believers don't seem preoccupied with God, more like, with believers.
And as an open site, any one has a right to write don't they?

Because whether I like it or not, the culture and life around me is heavily influenced to one degree or another by Christians who believe in God. It is often Christians who will decide if I get to keep my job, defend their kids, or protect their families...and more than once I have had people try to get me fired for being what I am.
Then there are the clowns who insist on getting their pet dogmas validated by law, either nationally or locally. People who will try to tell me what I can read, do, watch, or even eat. People who will happily try to tell me who I am allowed to date, marry, or befriend. I won;'t stand for that, and I try to fight them on their own ground since they don;t dare come on to mine.
I use their own Bible's absurdities, contradictions, and injustices against them, and I remind them that they are not the only people in the world. I also try to remind them that Christians do not have a monopoly on morality. The last is a desprately-needed lesson.

I'm not in the least concerned about the unexisting being you call God. Who gives a damn about a fabricated being made of gas at best?
It's the deeds of those who believe in God that scare me (shivers me boards!). The fewer believers, the better the world will be.
But, then again, we atheists here are becoming a bit dogmatic, in that we're trying to preach our Truth. So I get off the wagon and say "live and let live".

I have an interest in religion because I want to know a bit about it is that all these millions of people believe. Religions have so much influence on society and politics that I think they can't simply be ignored.

I believe some of them are answering questions written by believers. Besides, it's a free country, they have the right to be on this site.
What does it matter anyways? Don't you want them to know about God and religion? Why would you ask this question if you don't want them to be on the site?
Maybe they are trying to understand why you believe what you do. Let them be.

They aren't preoccupied with God, they're responding to those who spout religious claptrap about them being headed for hell, along with a concern that the Religious Wrong is trying to hijack this country and turn it into a theocracy. Geez, I'm not either one, but that's clear as day.

Scoffers and Heretics are only doing what the bible prophesied. They are concerned and very worried about their salvation because they were former Christians or of some other religion. Pray for them because they are only making Christians stronger in their faith. Great work unbelievers because You will truly get ur reward in the End.

Because "there is a God shaped hole in every man's heart." Monsigner Ronald Knox.
We as humans are constantly looking for the almighty. We see the things around us and imediately without realizing we know there is a God. Life then becomes a process of trying to rationalize something beyond rationale.
