We are a young family with 2 young kids. I have been offered a partnership in a business opening in the Sefton area of Liverpool. While commuting would be an option, we feel that a move closer to work would give us more time at home. I am unsure however which areas are the best places to live, for good local schools ect.. Is Sefton nice?
We are visiting soon to view areas - where should we look?

What happens to the Earth after the rapture?
After God saves all his sheep and damns the goats to hell I am assuming there won’t be anyone around.
Right?

Wait…At the Rapture, every Christian will receive a resurrected body, but People with resurrected bodies won't be able to marry or have children (Matt. 22:30)
So…
Will he start over and make a whole new set of dust people?
Will he make them more tolerant and loving towards each other?
Will he give them a better set of rules or a better book to follow or maybe a guidebook for Zombies?
This being a Zombie-thing doesn’t seem like a great reward for the millennial kingdom
So to ask,
How does God decide which Christians will be ruptured and who will be resurrected and who will be around for the repopulation?

Or better yet…
How is the rapture believable when it sounds a little crazy?

I mean you see all these different churches on TV that have all windows and such and have thousands of people in them. And you see all these people that get waay too into too...i mean yeah some people do but not everyone....

and these specials for preachers and such....

If someone went to my church that goes to these kinds of churches they might be in total shock that some people do go to "small churches"

It seems the best arguments for abortion is the my choice point of view and the my body point of view. Both of these are applible to drug abusers so why should they not be allowed to choose the path their life takes if this means a life of drug abuse who is the govenment to oppose it, it is their bodies and they are truly only hurting themselves? The same with prostitution. This is not a pro life/choice question. What do you think?

I’ve known a lot of liberal Christian and they seem to enjoy life and have fun as well as Neo-Pagans, Muslims, Jews, Agnostics and Atheists. But the conservative Christians I’ve been around are such a joyless lot. Why is that?

When I was a child in the 70's. everyone celebrated Halloween, at school, church, everyone. Now it seems like half the people I talk to are against it. Why has it become so evil all of a sudden? It is an old holiday from ancient days and it wasn't considered evil in my childhood. People do bad things everyday and not just on Halloween so why do they blame it? I see less pranks being done in my area than when I was a kid when window soaping and smashing stuff on peoples porches was common. What is the harm in dressing the kids up and taking them trick or treating in their neighborhood and the malls?

I have a freind who moved in with her girl friend and now her kids hate her. She was able to keep them for a year before they moved out. They do not want anything to do with her and all live with their dad. This was 5 years ago and now the kids are 12 and 16. Is this common or an isolated case?

We know and understand that the BIble condems people for stealing, and according to Exodus an eye for an eye, so I guess hamburglar would have his hand removed for stealing hamburger.

It can be said with surety that science in Muslim countries today is underdeveloped, and that by and large Muslim societies are scientifically illiterate. A few thousand years ago you helped shape science...today your contribution to science is paltry; pathetic might be a better word. In fact, most reliable indicators suggest the scientific output from Muslim countries is nearly negligible.
