Ponder on this thought: "If you only believe in heaven OR hell after you die, then what does the scripture at John 5:28,29 mean to you? ( I would quote, but I would like for you to read for yourself.)

Honestly think about it....... If you ONLY go to heaven or hell, why would there be a NEED for resurrection??

My boyfriend thinks that things will work themselves out and we shouldn't talk about it, However, i feel we need to talk about it now. He is deeply rooted, but not a "practicing Catholic" at present. I, in contrast, attend Church of Christ every Sunday with my parents. I feel that a child should be brought up in a church-going household and that we need to talk about this soon. I am firm in my beliefs and disagree with a lot of the Catholic beliefs, and he really likes the Catholic church. What am I to do, Are we destined to fail?, Should pack up and hit the road now? I don't want to do that andn I don't see thata as an option. Is there anyone out there who can give me a little insight or a direction to go?

I met Gwenneth at the office where i gained my first employment.
I was looking for people who liked classical musis, Gilbert and Sullivan and gardening. There weren't many. The office supervisr told me to "Try Gwen, She likes those things."
We seemed to become friends quite soon, going out to shows and sharing gardening times at each other's houses. After evenings out, we would share a kiss. This became more serious and Gwen asked me shold we just be friends or go on as we seemed to be.Thank heaven we went on. After 3 years we purchased a house and lived happily. If not ever after that is another story
Love, Rose P.

I have noticed that alot of men who are over 35, for example, are considered sexy, hott, etc.

but when a women is over 35, people don't really talk about her being pretty. they just say "she looks good for her age".

why can an "older" man be seen as sexy but an "older" woman is usually just seen as "looking good for her age", or etc...

why are men treated differently when it comes to their age and physical appearance?

I like when my wife knocks me out, beats me up, slaps me, sits full weight on my face, and pretty much torments me. I let my body compeletely loose like a rag doll while she pulls my hair and moved me around giving me orders. She likes it just as much and she says it makes her love me when I act submissive and weak. I feel the same way so I lost a bunch of weight and she lifted weights and got strong so she could beat me up harder then before. She especially got her legs n butt bigger. What's your opinion on my relationship?

I just want to know as it's been like this 4 years without anyone knowing

I never forgot her smile as I look up at her beautiful face while she pulls on my hair n whispers "you know you like this"

Ok, everytime there is an argument abou the bible there is always someone saying oh! its the old testament. Well if Christians follow only the new testament then WHY do they still have the old testament and even quote it sometimes(Lectivus to say being gay is bad or all of genesis to talk about creation etc..)? I say if you don't follow it anymore then rip it out of all the bibles and be done with it, or is there some reason why you still read it? Jesus himself said the old ways should be forgotten and that you should follow the new way.

It says that it's better for long trips, avoiding dirty public restrooms, long lines that make women miss shows, etc. It also has quotes from women (ages 20's and 30's) saying how dry they feel and quiet and the material is thin, no odor, no one knows, etc.

The author of the article quotes someone from Kimberly Clark (they make Depends) saying that about 5-10% of their customer service calls are from women like this. They have no incontinent problem at all.

Anyone heard of this? Any ladies using them? I'm now actually thinking about trying it.

They tell me I should, not chase the man, they tell me to be patient, the y tell me to be nice. After all these, how do I take the opport and not lose the man I had taking a liken to without rushing or blowing it all off.?
For months, I feel this shy guy likes me and I do but he does not say anything. How best can a lady show a man she is also interested if he is. How can a lady know if the man is only being flirty or friendly. How long shd I wait before giving up?

I am just wondering. When you tell your parent "I hope u die" OR "wish you were dead". I am always saying it to my dad when I get really frustrated and get screaming at him because he is too strict sometimes.. last week a boy in my math class who I used to be best friends when we were little, his dad was killed in a car accident last week, and I know for a fact that this kid said this to his dad one time because I was there at his house when he said it. Also sometimes I think there are kids in my school who wouldnt care if their parents died. I know because we were talking about Michael the kid whose dad was just killed and two of my friends were saying how they always say this to their dads but its no big deal.

I mean really! Look around, there has to be a God if there is order in the world! And the same thing with some peps thinking that there is no Heaven or Hell. If there would be no order in the world (ie laws traffic laws, moral laws, etc) it woud be chaos and hell on earth!!! Think about it... There must be some place where good and bad come from. Good comes from Heaven and God's angels and mostly God and bad comes from satan (the devil), his demons and hell. Honestly, why are so many people in such denial???

There's food for thought to you all. :)

I often wonder if a good person is really good because they have to be or because they just are. For instance born agains, they do some of the worst things you can imagine, but then they utter the magic words, and plop, a ticket to heaven. Yet, I who am an atheist, but live a christian life will be going to hell.

Its funny how the conscious please a small role in how you end up, but just how you feel towards the end. And I dont believe in heaven but its just so funny to me.

Christ will come to Earth again and all the dead will rise to be judged and 144,000 will be brought into Heaven, the rest suffering in hell and perishing. How can we tell which one is Christ? The Bible says someone will pretend to be Christ and Satan will help him in this trickery. But how will we know if the person is Jesus or not? ( who knows, it can happen before we die )

and tell me that Jeebus was a Messiah. Does anyone have anything to refute this? Doubt it. Chicken$hits will report this, real believers will answer.

These specific criteria are as follows:

1) He must be Jewish. (Deuteronomy 17:15, Numbers 24:17)

2) He must be a member of the tribe of Judah (Genesis 49:10) and a direct male descendent of both King David (I Chronicles 17:11, Psalm 89:29-38, Jeremiah 33:17, II Samuel 7:12-16) and King Solomon. (I Chronicles 22:10, II Chronicles 7:18)

3) He must gather the Jewish people from exile and return them to Israel. (Isaiah 27:12-13, Isaiah 11:12)

4) He must rebuild the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem. (Micah 4:1)

5) He must bring world peace. (Isaiah 2:4, Isaiah 11:6, Micah 4:3)

6) He must influence the entire world to acknowledge and serve one G-d. (Isaiah 11:9, Isaiah 40:5, Zephaniah 3:9)

All of these criteria for the Messiah are best stated in the book of Ezekiel chapter 37:24-28:

"And My servant David will be a king over them, and they will all have one shepherd, and they will walk in My ordinances, and keep My statutes, and observe them, and they shall live on the land that I gave to Jacob My servant...and I will make a covenant of peace with them; it will be an everlasting covenant and I will set my sanctuary in their midst forever and My dwelling place shall be with them, and I will be their G-d and they will be My people. And the nations will know that I am the Lord who sanctifies Israel, when My sanctuary is in their midst forever."

If an individual fails to fulfill even one of these conditions, he cannot be the Messiah.
