I think all the near death experiences are more hallucinations than anything else. But it's kind of like UFO sightings and ghosts--who knows if any of the people who claim to have seen it are telling the truth. Unfortunately it's one of those things, you will never know for sure until you experience it yourself, and nobody can really live to tell about it.

I hope you wouldn't take their word for it if they said they did. Funny when we hear stories of this that it always fits with what the persons preconceived notions of what it would be like is. Never do you hear a Muslim say they saw Jesus and never do you hear a Christian say they seen Mohammad.
