I am a born again christian and I am really bothered by Jehovah's witnesses twisting the Bible to prove their false teaching. I really know that their teachings are false and unbiblical but they always twist the Bible to prove their false teaching.

I started a new job last week in an accounting firm. I was introduced to senior managers and partners, who I have dubbed in my mind "window people" because their offices have windows.
I was not introduced to anyone else, "cubicle people" for example. I have an interior office-no window.

WhenI introduced myself to the few people I met in the hallways, they said "nice to meet you" and hurried off before telling me their names. I feel a ghost in this eerie place. There are very few people around.

What would you do if you were me, if anything?

Don't get me wrong, I love the music. I just have sensitive ears, so concerts get a little loud sometimes. Is it ok for me to stick my fingers in my ears and still sing along or have fun?

I have 2 boys ages 3 and 7. I would like to have advice on how to help raise them to be eomtionally aware and to express their emotions in healthy ways....how to encourage them to do this....also ...my 7 yr. old doesnt know how to identify and express this emotions well and I can see this in him ...how can I help him identify them and to let the boys know it is ok to feel and express it. There is so much stigma about men being weak or sissy if they feel and express it and I dont want that for them it is so much healthier to just be human ...web sites would help me as well. thanks

several years ago I was dating a young man. I was only 19 as was he. I was extremely jealous of him and caught him talking to a girl at a ball game. I know very juvenile. I questioned him about the night after and called the girl a bl*** b****. This was very racist. Well his friend overheard me and it happened to be his cousin I was talking about. I said this in a very angry mood and did not mean it. Well he told another girl that I called her and all her othr friends this name so I could reap what I had sewn. 6 years later one of the girls still hates me. I was questioned by other girls and they beleived I did not say it. She does not beleive me. I saw her a year ago. She looked at me as if she wanted to kill me. She was telling the girl next to her something and her mouth dropped open. I'm sure it was the story of me calling her that name. My ex (then my boyfriend) told me not to worry about it. So I am house/dogsitting for a friend of a friend for the next week and a half. I've been doing it for a couple of days now, and been sleeping there some nights when I'm working early the next day. I work full time and I can't be there 100% of my time (the woman I am sitting for knows this and gave me permission to sleep in the house) So the other day, her friend left me a huge note telling me I didn't give the dogs enough water. Then I saw her and she came up to me and went on how she spent all day at the house and the dogs were thirsty (this was the same day as the note) Then I came in (the dogs were alive and well) and I found that she made the bed, and washed the dishes in the sink...(all of 4 spoons I use to give the one dog her medicine and a bowl from breakfast) I know I'm doing a good job, I have been letting the dogs out at least every 7 hours if not more, watering plants, bringing the mail...etc. I'm 22 years old, I can handle two dogs...this lady is making me crazy!
