I am too. JW's heres scripture that shows that the trinity is biblical.
Old Testament Trinity Proof Texts
Genesis 1:26
"Let US make man in OUR image": Three plural pronouns, (We, Us, Our) used 6 different times in four different passages: Gen 1:26; 3:22; 11:7; Isa 6:8. The unanimous opinion of the apostolic Fathers was that the Father was talking to Jesus.
Genesis 19:24
"Then Yahweh [on earth in human form] rained on Sodom and Gomorrah brimstone and fire from Yahweh [in spirit form in heaven] out of heaven. Genesis 19:24. In this text Abraham is visited by three individuals, one being Yahweh and the other two angels. Here we have God on the earth (Jesus) and God in heaven (father) sending down fire from heaven. This incident when Abraham met with Yahweh God, is what Jesus referred to when he said, "Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad." (John 8:56) The unanimous opinion of the apostolic Fathers was that Jesus visited Abraham in Genesis 18 and 19.
Isaiah 6
Isaiah saw the glory of Yahweh, but John says that Isaiah really saw the glory of Christ. This proves Jesus is Yahweh. Combine this with the fact the Yahweh said, "Who will go for US" is a plural pronoun indicating more than one person in the Godhead.
Isaiah 40-55
Jesus echoes the "I AM" statements in Isaiah chapters 40-55. This spectacular link explores over 20 different passages in Isaiah and John.
Isaiah 45:23-24
I have sworn by Myself, The word has gone forth from My mouth in righteousness And will not turn back, That to Me every knee will bow, every tongue will swear allegiance. "They will say of Me, 'Only in the Lord are righteousness and strength.' Men will come to Him, And all who were angry at Him shall be put to shame.
Micah 5:2
But as for you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Too little to be among the clans of Judah, From you One will go forth for Me to be ruler in Israel. His goings forth are from long ago, From the days of eternity.
New Testament Trinity Proof Texts
Mark 2:5-12
Why does this man speak that way? He is blaspheming; who can forgive sins but God alone?
John 1:1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God.
John 5:18
For this cause therefore the Jews were seeking all the more to kill Him, because He not only was breaking the Sabbath, but also was calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God.
John 8:58
"Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad." The Jews therefore said to Him, "You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?" Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I am." Therefore they picked up stones to throw at Him; but Jesus hid Himself, and went out of the temple.
John 10:33
"I and the Father are one." The Jews took up stones again to stone Him. … Has it not been written in your Law, ‘I said, you are gods’?"
John 12:41 + Isaiah 6
A simple reading of the context of John 12 makes it clear that John is saying that Isaiah saw the glory of Jesus Christ himself in Isaiah 6. This proves Jesus is Yahweh.
John 19:7
The Jews answered him, "We have a law, and by that law He ought to die because He made Himself out to be the Son of God."
The Jehovah's Witnesses explanation of John 19:7 is so bad, we awarded them the STINCS Trophy.
Romans 14:11
For it is written, "As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to Me, And every tongue shall give praise to God."
2 Corinthians 13:14 & Philippians 2:1-2
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all.
Philippians 2:9-11
"Therefore also God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those who are in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."

Why I can’t believe in the royal we, idea to Genesis 1:26 and 3:22,
If Jehovah talked with the royal we or us, etc, why did He only do it only 4-5 times.
Why didn’t He or doesn’t He continue to do to so through out the bible.
Why didn’t He use the royal we at Gen. 1:29, 30 only 3 verses later, or Gen. 2:18, Gen. 3:11, 15
and through out the rest of the bible? Why at Isa. 6:8, does Jehovah say “Whom shall I send”?
Job 38:4-7 shows that the angels were existing at the creation of man, so Jehovah wasn’t alone and had many spirit creatures to talk to.
Instead, which sounds more real and truthful, that Jehovah was talking to someone who is His Master Worker, His Firstborn Son, His Faithful Witness, who is His image, His exact representation, OR He was talking to Himself. (Prov. 8:30; Heb. 1:3; Col 1:15)
Bible scholar Donald E. Gowan said “There is no support in the O[ld] T[estament] for most of the proposed explanations: the royal ‘we,’ the deliberative ‘we,’ the plural of fullness, or an indication of a plurality of persons in the Godhead.
Why does the word Elohim according to Strong’s Cyclopaedia, when it applies to Jehovah means Supreme God, not Gods? Even when this word is applied to Moses (Ex. 4:16 & 7:1) it doesn’t mean that there are 3 Moses, it doesn’t even mean there are 2 Moses.
(Side point when Jesus said if you see me you see the Father, it is because he is the image of God, the exact representation of his Father. When you see an image in a mirror you are seeing a representation, not the actual person. Col 1:15)
(Side point, According to my college dictionary, begotten means “to be born”, to be born means “brought into life or being” when was Jesus brought into life, when he came to life as a baby? No, as Jehovah’s Firstborn of creation Col. 1:15; Rev 3:14)
Note that the New Catholic Encyclopedia, The Encyclopedia Americana state that the trinity is contrary and a deviation from the teaching of the bible.
Therefore if you have a scripture that you think teaches the trinity you are thinking contrary to the entire bible and teachings of the apostles and Jesus.

I had no theory that at one time she had claimed to be a Witness.. i ask your self if her father believed 1975 became armegeddon, i became 13 on the time and that i especially in no way REMEMBERING the brothers remotely asserting that, I remember them asserting "it became 6,000 years of mankinds background and that "that day and hour no person is familiar with" i do no longer remember ever having them say get waiting, I remember the comparable as on the instant, shop on the WATCH.. i ask your self if the quantity of her being a "former JW" does not end precise there. besides a pair of years in the past while she first got here on the view I promptly enjoyed her. yet in no way gave it yet another theory in the previous I examine this. She did no longer look an apostate, she of course repeated "former" Jehovah's Witness. She repeated "THE BIBLE SAYS" She became incorrect on the 1975 element yet there is LITTLE TO NO way she became sufficiently previous to comprehend, purely hear. besides i'm hoping sometime, that she returns.. Her Bible wisdom, being placed on the spot on television became lots. And for the main area i stumbled on her respectful. i'm guessing her Bible wisdom became incredibly limited and her time spent "as a witness" became merely as limited. No i individually does no longer evaluate her an apostate. She of course reported she became former and clearly did no longer pontificate something distinctive from the Bible. besides, that's not us or as much as us.. And it makes no distinction she isn't considered one of Jehovah's Witnesses now. All as much as Jah. I heavily desire she comes decrease back , like I mentioned on the spot connection to her gentleness and comprehend fairly. human beings CAN wander off, and whether she does not experience she is... a minimum of she is respectful approximately it.

Anyone can twist the Bible to make it say anything they want, not just Jehovah's Witnesses. Just take the user Soldier OF GOD for instance. He's bent on a holy war. People who can consider a war holy are deeply disturbed in my opinion. Christians always twist the Bible to prove their misguided teachings. Catholics too.

Well..
I once believed the same way you do.. but then I got a bf who was a JW, and was constantly around his family who were JW, and they didn't convert me, but almost!
I mean, I'm non-denominational to the core.. but there's lots of questions I've always had about the Bible, and about certain things in the Bible, and listening to their point of view really made sense to me. At first, I had tons of questions (you know, to try to trip them up), but they answered really well, and it surprised me.
I believe all religions, and all belief systems have something to teach us. I don't think you should be gulliable and just believe everything someone says just because they say it, you should always try something based on what you know in your heart. But, it's always a good method to be open-minded. JWs definitely have a method to their madness, even if you don't agree with everything they say, it's good to at least listen to test it for yourself. If it does nothing else, it makes you sharper in your own studies to prove to them that what they're saying doesn't make sense.
But, once again, being open-minded is a good thing. I've learned even something from Islam (humility).

In truth anyone can twist the bible to prove there point they would say the same of you if you were to ask one. It is all really a matter of perspective and one I am not choosing sides on.

I do not know about that because i have done some research on different religions and most religions cannot prove thier beliefs in the bible. But JW's have shown in the bible that their beliefs are found in the bible. I go by fact and not by what i hear or have heard. If you do your research yourself and use any bible with thier beliefs you will find different than what you think. I do know they have a booklet that tell what they believe in and where to find it in the bible. Don't knock it till you research for your self. Not on what you believe or have heard. And to the comment of poetic your full of crap because my mom use to be one until she passed away and i know for a fact what you say is a lie. That is why ppl have a negative attutude about JW because of lies not truth. So i guess you are not too smart because you believe pple instead of finding out for your self.

Jw's place a great deal of merit on "works". The only reproof for a JW is to know your bible better than they do,so you know better when they try to "twist" it around.I don't have mine directly in front of me,but I do remember several verses of scripture that Paul taught cautioning on Faith coupled with works. As Christians we are saved by faith, which is believing on the life, death & resurrection of Jesus Christ. This was supposed to be proof to the world at the time there was indeed a "God" . As Christians we are also saved by the very grace of God(ie:God's compassion).JW's downplay Jesus Christ as a "prophet", rather than God incarnate as human on Earth.Ask any JW how if Jesus was only a prophet could he guarantee salvation to the thief at crucifixtion? What good "works" did he(the thief) perform hanging on a cross, yet his salvation was assured by Jesus. The thief was saved by faith alone .He knew Jesus was savior as he wondered why Jesus was with them.He had committed no crime.
Ask any JW to disprove that.Better yet ask A JW to interperet Jn.10:30.Its obvious he isn't talking about his earthly father- Joseph.
"Works" are important, but it isn't how Christians are saved. The deity of christ is much more important.

Are you calling Jesus a liar?
Some scriptures make flat statements that do not need to be translated......in any translation you choose to use.
Who was he talking to when he died, calling out "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" at Matthew 27:46?
and later, at John 20:17, he says that he was going his way to his God
How can you twist those words? They are plain statements. Black and White.
And to say that Jesus is God, is to call Jesus a liar!
Also, I have seen that Jehovah's Witnesses will use whatever translation of the Bible that you want them to.

we as Jehovah Witnesses do not give a false teaching. you don't know what you are talking about. we believe in Jesus being the son of God Jehovah. Jesus never said he was God. his 12 disciples even said he was the son of God. it is Jehovah the Father, Jesus Christ the son and the Holy Spirit. they are not one and the same. no one has seen Jehovah God but they seen Jesus in a human body. I am getting tired of people saying we are a cult. a cult worships man we worship Jehovah and Jesus Christ. but you can say what you want. we know the truth. also a cult lives in one state and does what man wants. we live in 235 lands and live in our own homes. a cult are robots we think like you do. look at the mormons, there leader was taken to jail for marrying children to older men. he will spend the rest of his life in jail. he even has forty woman who he is married to and has over seventy children himself. we are married to one person. also we carry the king james bible with us and if you want us to use the king james bible we will use that also. and show anyone that the king james bible says the same thing as our bible.

That is completely subjective and you are looking for an objective answer to your questions, to which you will never receive because none of us personally know God or any of the people depicted in the Bible.
