I'm no religion. I'm not athiest because that's no belief in a higher power and I'm not agnostic because I have a highly defined belief system and I'm not uncertain about it. But I choose to have no religion (or all depending on how you look at it)because ultimately they are too incomplete. And the dogma is intellectually debilitating. I respect other people's religious beliefs even though I don't share them. I tend to relate to mythological concepts and archtypes and regard christianity as christian mythology so it hardly seems any different to me than Islam or pagan and I find it hard to respect people that literalize their religious dogma. I consider myself to have more of an overview regarding religion. Like a person who studies world politics and feels that American politics is a narrow venue in which to form comprehensive political opinions. I feel to study one religion in exclusion of others narrows a persons philosophical and ethical view and often hinders spirtual communion and/ or enlightenment. For me it's just best to avoid concepts and orgs that claim to know the one true way. I haven't experienced any that do yet and doubt that I will.

Catholicism. The religion of Ignatius of Antioch.

Ignatius
"Let no one do anything of concern to the Church without the bishop. Let that be considered a valid Eucharist which is celebrated by the bishop or by one whom he ordains [i.e., a presbyter]. Wherever the bishop appears, let the people be there, just as wherever Jesus Christ is, there is the Catholic Church" ----Letter to the Smyrneans 8:2 ---A.D. 107---.
