1) A woman is biting a man and won't let go (which could give him a disease)

2) A woman is bending one of the man's fingers back and is attempting to break it

3) A woman is squeezing a man's private area and won't let go

4) A woman is seriously attacking a man, and she's a martial artist, so he can't restrain her. Assume she's faster than him or has him cornered so he can't run away.

5) A woman is attacking a man and is trying to seriously injure him, and she's bigger than he is, so he can't restrain her.

Is it ok for a man to punch a woman in self defense in some or all of the above circumstances? And, what would you do if you saw a man hit a woman in one of the above situations?

As a Christian I am obviously in favor of all the good Christian people here. Don't you see this section kind of dramatic? I am so familiar with these people that I already know a little of their personalities and how they think. Also this section is turning more into a "club".

Do you agree?

If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer. [Matthew 21:21]

If you ask anything in my name, I will do it. [John 14:14]

Ask, and it will be given you. [Matthew 7:7]

Nothing will be impossible to you. [Matthew 17:20]

Believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. [Mark 11:24]
The question, therefore, is simple: are Jesus' statements true or false?
For example, in John 3:16 Jesus says, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." People take that at face value: if you believe in Jesus, you will have eternal life. So when Jesus says, "Believe that you have received it, and it will be yours," isn't it the same thing? Can't we take that statement at face value as well?

By looking at amputees, we can see that something is wrong. Jesus is not telling the truth. God never answers prayers to spontaneously restore lost limbs, despite Jesus' statements in the Bible. Accepting this piece of factual information, rather than denying it, is the first step in understanding something extremely important about how prayer really works.

Even if you take a liberal rather than literal stance on the Bible, this feels strange, doesn't it? You may not literally believe that "nothing will be impossible for you" nor that "faith can move mountains," but I think we can agree that there is something very odd about the way that our perfect, all-loving God treats amputees. No matter how many people pray. No matter how sincere those people are. No matter how much they believe. No matter how devout and deserving the recipient. Nothing happens when we pray for amputated limbs. God never regenerates lost limbs through prayer, even though Christians believe that God is answering millions of other prayers on earth every day.

Does God answer prayers? If so, then how do we explain this disconnection between God and amputees? What should we do with the piece of empirical data that amputees represent? We need to somehow explain why God would answer millions of prayers on earth, yet completely ignore prayers for amputated limbs.

I was reminded today that it is important to endure to the end. To never give up and to do your best. This is most important with loving and teaching my children. I was reminded that I am their best hope for a "chance" in this life. No matter what they do wrong, I need to continue to love and support them.

I and the father are one.

This fits classically with the Jewish philosophy of gaining perfection is tantamount with unity with the Creator. So that when Jesus was saying “I and the father are one” what he was saying is that he has reached such a level of spiritual perfection he is in tune with the will of the Creator.

The Sabbath was made for man…

In the account of Jesus justifying his men violating the Sabbath by picking grain he quotes a story about King David and his men eating the bread from the tabernacle. At closer inspection one finds that King David justified his actions by saying that he and his men are starving and are at risk of death if they do not eat now.
In the same sense this is what Jesus was saying that one is allowed to violate the Sabbath in order to save a human life. In an “ironic” this is exactly what the Talmud says that the Sabbath was made for men to enjoy not so that they die observing it.

do you think this would please God? and are you sure your going drectly to Heaven.
It takes time...
God began doing a good work in you, and I am sure he will continue it until it is finished when Jesus Christ comes again. Philippian 1:6 NCV
Be patient with God and with yourself. One of life's frustrations is that God's timetable is rarely the same as ours. We are often in a hurry when God isn't. You may feel frustrated with the seemingly slow progress you're making in life. remember that God is never on time to prepare you for your role in eternity.
The Bible is filled with examples of how God uses a long process to develop character, especially in learders. He took eighty years to prepare Moses, including forty in the wilderness. For 14,600 days Moses kept waiting and wondering, "Is it time yet?" But God kept saying, Not yet."

How can anyone believe that the Quran is miraculous? Muslims claim that Muhammed could only know about the development of a baby though the all-knowing Allah. Now that we know that Muhammed was wrong, will they continue to believe?
The Quran's highly controversial statement that human beings are formed from a clot of blood: "Then We made the sperm into a clot of congealed blood; then of that clot We made a (foetus) lump; then We made out of that lump bones and clothed the bones with flesh" (23:14).

This is hardly a scientific description of embryonic development. It ignores to mention the female egg (the second and equally important half) and the process of fertilization when egg and sperm unite to form one new cell.

It mentions the obvious [the sperm], the visible, that which all mankind knew for a long time that it is necessary to "make" a baby. The Qur'an does NOT mention the invisible, that which we know only through modern medicine.
