NO - there are lots of possers out there who can dress nice and sound like they are smart but really they are dumb as door knobs. For example - I dated this guy and lets say his last name was Gal...das. Well, you would be impressed by his manners, his education, his stories and his overall expression of himself. Truth is I had to assist him with his job search, edit ALL of his thank you notes, and in one job review the project plan he suggested to the customer. He has to get new jobs overy 3-6 months because they realize he can talk his way into a company but not through a company deal.

maximum human beings might agree that Jimmy Carter became properly knowledgeable and clever. And yet that practise and intelligence did no longer translate into 'good judgment'. that's an unusual phenomenon while a properly knowledgeable and clever guy or woman does no longer additionally very own 'good judgment'. i'm unsure why. you will possibly assume that they might. Now, i'm no longer likely to point any presidential applicants, yet i've got faith you're precise. the factors of a great style of electorate are incredibly low or, they lack the needful good judgment themselves to renowned people who very own this high quality and human beings that don't. pepperg: An MIT economist did a study on money and politics and desperate, utilising very lots of statistical records, that the quantity of money spent has little to no bearing on the fulfillment of a marketing campaign. human beings vote for the guy who they experience perfect represents them and you won't be able to convince human beings to vote for you if your perspectives, values and positions are opposite to theirs no count how lots money you spend. And in the event that they do, you have already got their vote and so there is not any could desire to spend money. You hear lots approximately, "We did no longer get our message out." that isn't the undertaking. you got your message out. the folk who forged votes merely did no longer believe your message. besides the indisputable fact that that's much less annoying to blame the voter than overview the understanding of your judgement or your place.

I'd say no. One could be smart, intelligent (that's quite redundant), and educated and look like a derelict. I've seen it frequently. Oftentimes I look like poor white trash, simply because impressing people by my dress and the car I drive simply is not a priority and I like to work outside and do all of my own maintenance work.

Not conclusively, but it's a good indication. Educated and intelligent people love to dress the part, but look at Bill Gates, he always dressed like a nerd ;)

Assuming we are not talking about a mongoloid appearance which indicates mental retardation, no.
Wait until that person opens his mouth to speak.
"Better to remain silent and let people think you are a fool than to speak and confirm it."

No, because I've seen extremely attractive people who were as dumb as dirt; you soon realize it once they start talking.
