I knew I was bi before I knew what that word meant. I figured it out when I was in middle school and found the girls in the locker room a little more than pretty. Of course I never said a word to them and didn't act on my bisexuality until I was a junior in highschool. I don't know what triggered it, I just knew. Really, sexuality by any means should come from inside. It's what you think is right and normal. It's not trendy or fashinable, it just happens. Anyone who thinks otherwise has problems with fitting in. I've hid my sexuality from everyone I know because I'm scared of what they'd think of me if I ever said I had a thing for women too. It's a scary world. I only live in it.
Lilly...
And to those of you who wrinkle your nose at bisexuals or "homos" just think, you could meet me on the street and never know my sexual orientation. I dress professionally for work, I date men, and I don't go out into the street and scream that I've kissed women. I wonder if the first words you speak are "are you bi?" to new people you meet.

Wow I have never been fashionable or trendy before. I am just bisexual, been that way all my life and like Lilly I hid it and hide it very well. Fashion has nothing to do with being born bisexual it just is. It is painful and it is joyful, it is happy and it is sad. My life has been an enigma wrapped in a question for so long I have forgotten who was speaking to begin with. You people who steer clear of us I thank you from the bottom of my heart because you are doing us the ultimate favor by denying us your negative energy. Thank you so much we get enough discrimination with out the like of you. LOL I am g0y, I am bisexual and I am so happy.

No, it is not cool to be anything you are not.
The modern 'cool' is a guy who looks after themselfs (this is where the cosmetic/fashion part comes in), is a gentlement (the term lady's man kicks in) and is still a true bloke (who can still fight off the croc and protect his family).
By being just a fake bi-sexual, it doesn't make you cool or fashionable. My 2 cents :)

Being bisexual isn't fashionable because it's about love, passion and all about emotions.

i dont call it fashionable nor cool to be a bi...its the way we are/made of or for a reason, hence can have two worlds for it and the sexual preferences/orientaion of a person doesnt mean bad or somethin' just curios and exploring and happy and havin' a whale of a time....

No it's not fashionable and I've tried all my life to be straight all my life to be in the person everyone expected me to be, but at my age now I don't care who thinks what.

It seems that way these days. I suspect that only a hand full of us are truly Bi and the others are just trying to be trendy. I personally didn't choose to be Bi for the social appeal.

i think a lot of straight guys are into the "girl on girl" thing at parties, only because they get turned on by it. it's unfortunate, because straight guys look down on any other form of homosexuality/bisexuality. it's pretty immature.

No, it isn't "fashionable and cool to be bisexual", it's called 'weird'.
